New Bigfoot Video

Saw palmetto and cypress trees (a knee is right in front of the camera) are visible. The palmetto would seem to rule out northern Mississippi.

Northern Lights said:
It was claimed that the palmetto don't grow that far north, but someone who lives in the area claimed they do.
This person needs to prove that. Can you find their post on the web?

it's a minor point concerning this brief view of a guy in a gorilla suit.
It probably is a gorilla costume and that's why the face isn't shown.

I just assumed it was Florida because it looked like saw palmetto to me. . .

That said, I have heard that saw palmetto has been planted and is invasive in pockets well north of the mapped range. I couldn't find anything definitive on that using the Googles, however. It is planted as an ornamental and very popular with folks who think it's a prostate-shrinkener.

Maybe that's why the Myakka Skunk Ape is chewing on saw palmetto leaves. He needed prostate shrinkening.

Welp I'm convinced, shaky camera, "accidental camera stoppage" and just before getting a clear non blurry shot of the most sought after mythical beasts face, The camera man runs away.

Another fraud, Another day.

Personally, I think this is the real deal.

To be fair, I once recorded a series of drug deals going on near my apartment and thought I was holding the camera phone reasonably steady throughout. When I played it back though the sheer shakycam-ness of it all made it look like I was having a seizure. Needless to say the police didn't find my "evidence" very convincing.

I don't believe that anyone has ever captured an actual Bigfoot on film or video, but my own experience in amateur recording has caused me to move "shakycam" further down the list on reasons to be skeptical of a purported recording of a cryptid.

Are they omniscient? What makes them different from any other creature that humans are able to observe?

They aren't omniscient, but they are far more aware and in tune with their environment than we are. That combined with their intelligence and cautiousness needs to be taken into account.

How come even amateur wildlife photographers manage to get nice, well-focused, well-exposed shots of all sorts of other (and presumably "aware") critters......But not our friend with the generous pedal extremities?

See, thing is, there have been millions of human beings over the course of thousands of years that have been extremely aware and in tune with their environment, so much so that they came to dominate that environment, and the creatures that live (also extremely in tune) there. So successful was this species that it drove many of the other (extremely adapted) species to extinction. It is these human beings that re-introduced some of those endangered species back into their ecosystems. There are thousands of these folks still in the bush, across Canada, Alaska, Siberia, Kamchatka, Mongolia, trapping as a way of life. Not a footie pelt among 'em though.

That combined with their intelligence and cautiousness needs to be taken into account.
They're so cautious that they've allegedly been seen and reported by thousands of people (who aren't attuned to their environment). Including a couple of cowpokes who filmed one slowly sauntering away, uncautious as **** all. Yes, these footies made mistakes, many mistakes if we give the "reports" credence; they just don't make mistakes that lead to their verification. Now on the surface, that seems daft what with the millions of humans that have been afield armed and willing; I guess footie was only aware of those with bad intent. Yeah, that's intelligent all right. Maybe they'll figure out fire next.

Like finally huh?!

By crouching and leaning forward like that, he's giving his back a very realistic shape. As soon as he lifts his arms a little bit, you can see the armpit part of the suit hanging. Besides that, another issue is that the person taking the video is really close to the animal. My theory is that these animals will notice you long before you notice them. For someone to be able to get so close like that is a red flag.
Good one. Act like you know the truth but never actually say what that truth is. Then go full circle back to "belief" to make it look like you've already said it. It's for when you're confronted you can say "I didn't say that."

Know who else is "far more in tune with their environment than we are", basically every other wild animal out there. But you already knew that huh 'cause you confiscated it and simply applied it to a mythical beast.

Do we file all these playing tidbits under 'character development' or 'dubious game tactics'?

Maybe they get one BFF dollar every time a skeptic responds to one of their posts. It's a game within a game.
Sweaty set the standard and now Chris and OS are trying to break his record. NL won't come close unless he really picks up the pace.
It's more difficult than it seems because they need to figure out just how far to push the envelope line so they don't end up on ignore.

If people here can't tell if this is real or not, I doubt they'd be able to tell the authenticity of anything other than NatGeo quality HD footage. Even then though, they still might not be able to.

OntarioSquatch,we can all tell that it is not real. In this thread it is only you and Northern Lights who pretend otherwise. What is the point of this silly charade? If this is a club that accepts you, there are other, more worthy, organizations to join who do not require belief in fictional critters. Find one.

If I saw a crappy blurry video of a deer bounding through a meadow...
