Detax Canada

So, can anyone tell me why they are Red Robed Priests of Isis if they didn't wear red robes and weren't priests of Isis for the majority of their history?

Quite simply, EldonG seem to believe that any time anyone says, "It will be this way FOREVER!", that's actually binding on all of humanity for all time to follow, no matter what anyone else ever says or does on the issue.

Why that doesn't mean that they're actually the mastodon-fur robed medicine men of Ugg the Caveman God is left as an exercise for the reader.

The detaxcanada website looks like a geocities site from 1996, which, in my opinion is more damning than any case law or logic.

I'm really story I missed this guy. He seemed like a hoot. Like Rob, but more hate and delusional ideas about law and history.

Thanks to dood, I had my first custom title, "Red-robed Priest of Isis"

He has a nasty streak; anti-semite and involved in some frauds.

Eldon's baaaaack. . . .

At FreedomClub Canada: http://canadafcusa.wordpress.com/common-law/the-name-game-explained/

On this page http://canadafcusa.wordpress.com/tax/tax-verified-illegal/ he even repeats the claim that his wife, who committed suicide early in his detax career was really killed by the FBI.

It may be just a cut and paste of his old stuff since as far as anyone can tell Eldon is in the care of family in Merritt Canada.

The word on Quatloos is the the Grande Prairie freeman squatters are citing Eldon's whacky theories.

That should work well for them, I must check in at Quatloos.

I wonder if he would come back on this forum again to update us on his research findings?

Getting around the banning ain't ole Eldon's only problem.

Despite living with his daughter who cut his wife, her momma, down from the extension cord with which she hung herself Eldon still manages keep alive the delusion that everything since his 1980's break from reality happened just as he imagines it.

In light of his mindlessly redundant 2000's can.taxes defense of his failed "methods" and his more recent unhinged cut and paste rants on the backwaters of freeman/sovereign/detax 1990's style forums one has to ask how often his more sane family caretakers will allow him keyboard access.

I say "more sane" since it seems that every family member who has touched upon the warped essence of what is "Eldon" has killed herself (Chavala, the first wife), run away (the son, Brent) or become helpless enablers (daughter Maria and his common law wife).

Apologies for resurrecting a necro-thread but a friend liked a FB posting that at first struck me as FOTLish but on second skim through I noticed "Detax". Is the name Amanda Vollmer familiar to any on the FOTL/Soveriegn/Detax followers?

If anyone's feeling adventurous, her FB page is:

https://www.facebook.com/greatcentralsun

and you have to friend request her.

Nope, and she doesn't appear on a search at Quatloos.

Thanks.

She initially talks about "Got any 3rd party credit collectors at your tail? Tell them to shove it! Once an alleged debt goes to a third party collector, it's over because that alleged debt has been sold, which means the original contract you signed is null and void. You have no contract with the new collector, so you can tell them to go away (legally). I have done this successfully plenty of times and if you want to do it contact me. I do charge for this service but it's minor compared to paying your wage to numbers punched out of thin air into a computer!"
(bolding mine)

and then later "The Government will steal any tax return money you have so it is wise to also to the Detax method of filing taxes (in Canada)"

I'm sure CRA would be interested in her

It is sad that even on a public forum such as this that lawyers resort to the use of the Aristotleian 'Fallacies of Philosophy' to present their opinion, rather than putting up an honest debate on the issues presented on such websites as 'detaxcanada.org'.

Just to add this piece of information EldonG the man who ran Detax Canada died in May, 2017.

If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?

A giant in the Canadian OPCA sphere has passed, and, like the proverbial tree, nobody seems to have noticed. Nothing. I've checked the internet and all I've found is this;

http://www.vikingfuneralservices.ca/fh/obituaries/obituary.cfm?o_id=4244441&fh_id=14333

Six months dead and not a word. Shabby, shabby treatment. Eldon Warman was a key actor in the inception of the Canadian Freeman movement, he provided the theoretical background. It's been the position of some academic writers, wel at least one, that Menard got most of his ideas from Warman and the Detax movement that Warman started in the late 1990's. But there is no mention whatever about it in his obit. No real personal history at all. Just that he existed, had family, and some died before him, some survived him. But Eldon even rated a detailed mention in Meads v Meads!

I hope that his service was swell and that the Red Robed Priests of Isis treated his remains with dignity.

The introduction on the detax site reminds of the old cop joke:

Veteran: "Hey rookie, know the difference between unlawful and illegal?"

Rookie: "er, uh, well.."

Veteran: "Never mind kid, unlawful means against the law. Illegal is a sick bird." (rimshot)

It's already been said that it's pretty sad day when the guy who got the whole detax/freeman thing going in Canada dies and today's guru class doesn't have beans to say about it.

I suspect the only thing Menard, Clifford and the other gurus learned from Warman's experience was to keep their prejudice and bigotry to themselves. Warren's hateful anti-Semitism, along with his fails, were his undoing. The freeman gurus of the early 2000's knew they couldn't market their theories if they said what they really thought about Jews, Muslims, blacks and gays, or admitted that their theories weren't any different from Warman's.

Freemen gurus had to, as they say, "distance themselves" from Warman but they ended up just forgetting about him. But as the years passed freemanism went off message and eventually it becomes clear that freemen gurus weren't much less hateful and bigoted than Warman.

One has to wonder were today's freeman gurus will end up, forgotten by the fickle subculture they created.

If history is a teacher it says more such believers, 'In magic words that give me wealth', will be along. A new generation of the clueless will rise.

Back in the 1990's the clueless didn't realize that Warman was driven to extort his insane theories by the self-driven the loss of his job, wealth and his wife, who committed suicide at the height of his troubles. The ensuing applications of his detax, natural person and personal sovereignty theories were just one embarrassing failure after another.

Eventually the anti-government crowd caught on that Eldon was a loser and he got put on the shelf.

The 2000's guru class, Menard, Clifford, Lentz and Belanger are on the down side of the same cycle of fame, failure, and eventual dismissal that Eldon experienced.

After claiming to have been "awoken" by personal and professional crises each ran through a period of popularity only to have been discovered as fakes due to their public and embarrassing failures.

Warman ended up broken, relying on the kindness of family and strangers.

The 2000's crop of gurus must surely see that now they are becoming the sad, crazy old men in the corner with bad teeth who can't explain why their theories didn't provide them with the freedom and abundance they promised everyone else.

Cliffford has a well documented history of support for white supremacy: http://anti-racistcanada.blogspot.com/2015/06/dean-clifford-winning-everything.html

And who could forget Menard's nazification of freemanism?: http://www.internationalskeptics.com/forums/showthread.php?t=267530

Most recently real freedom fighters have been shaking their heads at Menard's tacit endorsement of Quebec's Bill 62 which bans Muslim women from wearing the niqab, burka or any other face covering.

Menard said on his Facebook page, ". . .the veil. . . is associated with rejection of our culture and detrimental to our safety."
