You are right, it's correct.
But I can't say for sure it's not her. She might be. I don't know. The name is not that common.
Are you sure about the University? I couldn't find her thesis in their database.

I searched for PhD thesis written by Stefanoni in this webpage:
http://www.fedoa.unina.it/
I couldn't find any.
This is interesting: http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://ww.unina2.it/
As far as I can tell they don't have any tesi di laurea in that repository, only tesi di dottorato.
Add the third "w" to see what it should look like.
What did you find interesting? The peaks?
The scholarship is linked under the caption:
These "scholarships" are for post-doctorate research activities, it means they are for people who already have accomplished a dottorato di ricerca (those who already have a PhD).
Those "scholarships" are in fact research contracts.
This is in fact the kind of activity Stefanoni was doing for several years.
So it could be her.
By the way this is not the same University where she got her degree and PhD, her Alma Mater is the University Federico II.
This one is another university also in Naples, but she might have well found a contract here. She might have found this research contract even when she was already working at the Police.
Wow. That was fast.![]()
It's actually more easy for you to get Stefanoni's CV than for me to get copies of the search warrants.........If you have an interest in Stefanoni's CV, or you want to make public statements about the topic, you should e-mail her and ask her, or e-mail the Polizia Scientifica laboratory for it, rather than depend on me.
I did email Polizia Scientifica - they wouldn't give it to me. If you have her personal email, I'm more than happy to ask her directly.
I think her qualifications, training and expertise are relevant; I think they are relevant for any discipline, particularly when it's brought into court.
The American Bar Association standards require disclosure of qualifications and training of those who are put up as experts. Why not in Italy? But, then, Professor Vecchiotti's are published by Sapienza are they not?
After all, even I can put on a protective suit and start swabbing things with bits of cotton wool on the end of sticks whilst wearing latex gloves. It wouldn't mean I knew what I was doing however. The thing is, you see, there's some compelling evidence that Stefanoni didn't either and that she made rather a lot of mistakes both en scene and later in the lab - well, in the lab, actually, the allegations are even more serious than that.
Would you let a Doctor operate on you without knowing his or her background? Why should courts let people testify as experts without knowing theirs?
I don't recall Stef ever claiming to have a PhD.
You and Bill. Machiavelli is worth more than two PMF sites combined, but that is the research subject.Machiavelli has deep knowledge of this case and knows where to access documents, which us why he is a valued contributor to this discussion - even though we reach different conclusions in this case. Which is why when it is finally resolved I hope he will write a book(s).

You mean, like your claim that the Novelli report doesn't exist?
