Merged Bigfoot follies

Untrue. At least in my case, and I suspect many others, you could easily raise the bar of interest by showing this 15 ft HD footage you claim to have. But you refuse to. Instead, you choose to hide behind the old " I don't have a body or body part" nonsense. Numerous members here have stated that HD footage would increase their interest or even possibly be convincing based on the clarity of the footage, etc. Yet you still cling to your safe old mantra.

Why is that Chris? That is why I dismiss you as nothing more than a game player.

Well, for me, good video or photo would certainly be enough to move bigfoot from the "almost certainly doesn't exist" to "just barely possible", but I would still suspect fakery. A body or body part would remove all doubt. The thing is, if bigfoot were as widespread and common as the believers would have us believe, there should be bones, hide, and other parts all over the place. The highway department should be scraping them off the road on a regular basis. Hunters would surely shoot a few every deer season. Hikers would find dead ones, or at least remnants (bones and maybe hide). These things happen with all the wild animals that we know to exist, even the rare and elusive ones. Yes, you can only see bigfoot if you want to see him. You have to want to see him so badly that you see him when he's not there.

Belief in bigfoot is based on tall tales, fake footprints and on crappy still photos, a crappy movie and crappy videos. Footers are too lazy to even come up with decent fake photos or videos. The best we have is the Patterson film, and it's pathetic.

I've never seen a mermaid and I'm not interested in looking for one as I'm skeptical such a creature ever existed.
Chris B.

That's just because you can't SEE them like others can, this is probably due to years of you being close-minded. But trust me, they're there... I remember my first encounter, walking along the beach in Cornwall, a seashell was tossed at me and no'one else was around. Later on, me and a few friends were just sitting around, relaxing, when out of nowhere...a Fishermen's Friend came hurling towards us. No foolies. I'm a KNOWER.

There are an estimated 100 mexican grey wolves in AZ. I have personally seen one and my mother has taken photos of several near our cabin in the white mountains near the boarder with New Mexico. Just saying.

Bolded mine.

If memory serves, you already dismissed me as someone who suffers from hallucinations, incapable of field work, paranoid, and someone that certainly shouldn't be allowed to carry a firearm, a danger to himself and others etc, the list goes on.

I've already released everything I plan to until my study is complete. Why? It serves no useful purpose to the creatures. I don't like or want media attention.

Also, one of the responsibilities of Bigfoot research is to NOT feed the hoaxers. As it stands now, hoaxers do not have enough correct info on these creatures to make a convincing track or suit and I prefer to keep it that way. It makes things much easier for me to continue to be able to identify a fake track or a fake suit at a glance.

Anyone can make a set of stompers, but they don't know how the Bigfoot track looks exactly, or how the foot moves/works when they walk/run/stand still.

Anyone could throw a hairy suit together but they don't know the exact facial features to put with it. After a type specimen is obtained, it makes no difference. Chris B.

You don't know any of these things, either, LOL. You also stated earlier that the descriptions vary, so how do you know who's lying and who's not? Do you make this nonsense up as you go along? You don't know how the foot works, either, neither does the man who supposedly knows the most about 'squatch feet, Don Jeff.

Clearly, if you were able to spot a fake Bigfoot at a glance then you'd be spotting them everywhere online, because they're all fake, most importantly...Patty is an obvious fake with an obvious butt-pad, but you don't see that, so you're either partially blind, or you're not as savvy as you seem to think.

"After a type specimen is obtained..." which will never happen, like, ever.

It's an interesting point re: not wanting to "feed the hoaxers," since it's those hoaxers who are actually feeding Bigfoot-lore as you know it. Nearly all of this nonsense has been fuelled by hoaxers. Ray Wallace? Roger Patterson? They added so much to Bigfoot-lore, and they were known hoaxers. Most of your "Bigfoot science" has been created by some lad/ladette having a chuckle.

No, obviously they're not. But it is soothing to know the only errors you can find in my statements seem to be grammar and punctuation. You have emboldened every Bigfoot researcher on the planet. Thanks for that. Chris B.

Before we all get too cynical about standing still and appearing invisible, let me tell you that I have been 5 metres (still, not moving) from a full grown elephant, in relatively thin scrubby bush, and no passengers in my vehicle saw it until it swished an ear. Along with para-whatsit this shows that our own eyes (and brain) are never to be trusted.

This bears repeating, and I think it's necessary to be fair about this.

It is absolutely plausible that someone can be within five meters of an elephant in a jungle and not see it. I have a similar story, but it was a tiger.

It is not remotely plausible that millions of people over hundreds of years could be on the same continent as a bigfoot without the critter becoming common knowledge.

I'm sure someone else has already posted this:

Everything you say is in error, Chris, seriously...

How can you claim to be seriously invested in Bigfoot as a creature when you won't even prove to the world that they exist? LOL, you have HD footage, apparently...but won't show it to the world because you don't want to "feed the hoaxers," those same hoaxers who've been feeding you for years.

"I don't want money or media attention," that's good, because you're not likely to be getting any, mate.

If we're not careful, this thread is gonna wind up in the Humor subforum before too long.

Personally, I'd like to have enough people to be able to surround an area where the creatures were, but still be within arms length of each other. Then move in, everyone/everything to the center.
When everyone meets in the middle, Presto there's the Bigfoot.

Unfortunately, I'm not a billionaire like Bill Gates, so I'm unable to bear the cost of such an operation.

Yeah, gathering a group of people in a circle would take billions of dollars. Good point.

Chris, do you have unreleased HD video of bigfoot?

I don't follow footery much so I am unaware of what claims you may have made in this regard.

Ironically, he doesn't have billions of dollars, and even though he admits it would be useful, he refuses to release footage of something that, if real, would potentially bring him such vast amounts of money.

I don't recall saying anything about your grammar or spelling.

Panthers are cryptids in Kentucky because they don't live there.

I wonder what the diameter of the circle would be at the point where everyone was pressed together shoulder-to-shoulder.
