No predicting was necessary. Saudi Arabian Intelligence knew about the whole 9/11 plot, and helped carry it out. The CIA has never had to make the claim that "those darn Saudis never shared information with them" because the Saudis have been protected from day one. How convenient for the CIA.
Saud A.S. Al-Rasheed sometimes spelled Saud al Rashid:
In 2002 investigators found damming evidence against him.......
According to DIA translators, this individuals name may indicate that he is some how related to the Saudi Royal Family

He was put on the FBI's most wanted list - this is an archive of the FBI website before it was pulled off by orders of ???????............
For Immediate Release
FBI National Press Office
The FBI has issued a BOLO (Be On The Lookout) for an individual by the name of Saud A.S. Al-Rasheed.
He is considered armed and dangerous.

This BOLO was pulled off the web when it was discovered he was part of the Saudi Intelligence apparatus.
He was one of the hijackers originally and knew of the whole plot according to KSM......
Footnotes of 9-11 Commission:
8. Saud al Rashid. Describing him as headstrong and immature, KSM says he disappeared after being sent to Saudi Arabia for a U.S.visa, either because he had second thoughts or because his family interceded and confiscated his passport. He has no credible explanation why photos of him were found with those of three other hijackers, or why others identified him as a candidate hijacker

9-11 Commission released notes:
Event: Interview of Saud al-Rasheed
He also denied ever meeting Khalid Sheikh Mohammed (KSM) . When confronted with information that KSM (and Mustapha al-Hawsawi) identified him as one of the potential muscle operatives for the 9/11 operation, and asked how and why KSM would lie about such a thing, al-Rasheed claimed that KSM could have seen what al-Rasheed looked like from the picture on his passport and KSM might have heard his name because there were rumors floating around that al-Rasheed was __________

Do you believe our Saudi friend? The 9-11 commission didn't.
We believe that al-Rasheed was being deceptive. It is our impression that he has had enough time to develop a coherent story and is sticking to it (and that he even may have been coached at some point).

Saudi Intelligence knew more about Al Qaeda than the CIA or anyone else since they are the ones that gave birth to the terrorist Organization all the way from the time they were "Brave Freedom Fighters" according to the U.S. Government in the 1980s, till they were "Evil Doers who hate Freedom" according to the U.S. Government in the 2000s.
Protecting the Saudis protects CIA, the Saudi Intelligence and CIA working together running the Jihadi crazies is nothing new.
