Were the turkeys Obama pardoned even born in America? I don't recall seeing any records released about that. Why is the President pardoning foreign born turkeys?

At a minimum. Even I have limits. And the young ladies clearly are nothing remotely deserving that crap. Their father (as President is a fair target that way. The family isn't. But, then, nobody has accused republickers of being honorable or fair for roughly 35 years. Quite the reverse - with very good reason.:(:mad::jaw-dropp

Oddly, I did not see any news sources picking that one up....... (well, regular news sources).
 
I read about this on the BBC website and just thought "Stay classy GOP staffer".

I'll accept that this doesn't represent the views of the GOP, just a single low-level minion but the accompanying lack of respect for the President is much more widespread.

The real problem here is that Ms. Lauten apologized. Lawyers like to say,
“The truth is an absolute defense.” She was right. Someone should have told the Obama children that if they are going to be a part of a public ceremony, they do not sit there and make faces.

In her original post, she wrote, “Dress like you deserve respect.” That is sound advice that should be given to any teenager. The smart money is on the Obama daughters never having heard those words.

Really ? Maybe that exact phrase may not have been used (it smacks of condescension) but I'm pretty sure that the Obamas have given plenty of guidance over the years and I wouldn't be shocked to find that they were pretty decent parents.

The staffer has resigned. She can now just go back to being another anonymous member of the GOP base, where such disgusting comments are commonplace, as evidenced by the comments at the link.
 
The comment section is strange, but it is on Fox. Do one sided is to be expected.
 
He allowed his precious daughters to wear that? With this, and him brewing beer in the Whitehouse, I'm starting to think he secretly isn't a Secret Muslim.
