²¹¹² I mean, considering the beast doesn't really exist (in accepted reality), can't then pretty much anything Bigfoot that's "all story and no monkey" be considered BLAARGing? ;)
 
Just for reference, I find I seem to have missed the proper definition of the term "blaarging," though its general sense is clear enough. Would someone be kind enough to toss me the "official" meaning of the term?

Yeah because asking someone to back their claims is just silly and a waste of time? You'd much rather discuss a lot of hogwash and brag about your "encounters" without having to answer that. Lets instead discuss some dents in the ground left by "the big guy". Much more entertaining, and educational.

Unfortunate for proponents. It's just unbelievable that meenieheads would ask for an example of a 9-ft, 600-lb ape claimed to be running around NA, seen and heard, but no hide nor hair.

If you can't demonstrate you know something, there is no reason for anyone to believe it. None.

Over ten thousand years of human habitation in North America, and not one single shred of unambiguous evidence has been found that supports the existence of bigfoot. No clear, objective, tangible thing has ever been offered by anyone, ever. Evidence for bigfoot that's actually worth anything equals zero.

This is unfortunate if your hobby is belief in bigfoot.

I think the line that hits the nail on the head for footers is:

The funniest part, and most revealing about the "community" of footers is how after the image was exposed to be very old and an obvious mounting board on the bottom pointed out... there were still many footers acting as if this was still real and talking about how afraid she seemed. lol?

It really is funny to watch.

Headed out of the Ouachita mountains yesterday going to start making my way home :(
Very windy in that part of the world the past few days and wacky weather. Took the Jeep on miles of the county roads.. (jeep trails, fire roads) some where smooth enough for cars...some others not so much. At higher elevations there was a few inches of snow!
This was all in what is rumored to be Area X. Found plenty of cabins only one would have been close to any public road. But this is a huge area to cover. While remote by most standards this is a very well used area, numerous remote "car" camping areas and at the top of one mountain an impromptu town at least 6-10 cabins, one large house and trailers, ect.
This area is easily and often used by locals for recreation. If there's a resident population of Bigfeets my assessment.. one would have been killed a long time ago by locals, or hit by a truck....man they drive fast around here!
Did a little bushwacking but it was just so windy really couldn't hear much and some of the terrain is very steep.
Another area to visit and spend some time IMHO especially if you have a 4wheel drive vehicle which would enable you to get to some really remote areas.
Going to check out a few other spots on my way home and maybe spend the night with the ponies on Mt. Rodgers!
Oh yes I had tremendous trouble sighting cryptoids...in fact I saw none or any evidence of any!
Maybe I should head to Ill. and slay the Dogman...good grief BFF is wacked!!

It's not just the locals. The Ouachitas are a prime camping target for the Houston and Dallas/Fort Worth metros. They're used kind of like the way the Adirondacks are a mountain playground for folks from NYC.
