By the way, this part of the story can be reconciled with Wilson's version. If Brown said "don't shoot me", it's possible Wilson heard that as taunting or simply heard something different. "Don't shoot me" sounds enough like "You won't shoot me" for there to be an honest mistake. But whatever Brown said, he didn't have time to "bumrush" anyone, since the third set of shots started almost immediately.

What police account are you referring to? Specifically one that claims Mr. Brown was shot through the window?

The three women who were held captive by Ariel Castro certainly discussed their situation together, and had he lived to be tried, would have told the same story. Should they have been discounted because they weren't "independent" enough? In this case, a cop shoots a kid, and witnesses do what anyone would do: they leaned on each other for support in the face of trauma. Of course, another way to look at it is that they colluded to frame a heroic cop for murder because they're blacks and just hate white cops.

Yes, the original police story said that Wilson's gun went off while Wilson was still in the car. I presume that this shot hit Brown, since that's what accounts for all the shots.

Which we can now guess was a poor choice of words. Brown was never inside the car, but Wilson was and they were wrestling there. That's when the first shot was fired, by all accounts. It makes sense that a point blank shot would hit.

Seriously? Are you incapable of seeing spacial relationships? Darren Wilson was inside his car, with his hands holding Michael Brown's shirt. Wilson claims that at this time, he had his gun out and Brown attempted to grab it. He had to have had his gun out of the holster, since there's no other way Brown could have reached it. But Brown was either grabbing or punching Wilson, and Wilson grabbed his gun and shot him. There's no disagreement about this from any version of the story.

Oh how different this case might be if there was only a dashcam in Wilson's SUV.

In that video you had two cops, one unarmed suspect that starts swinging at the officers, decides to flee, and is fatally shot by the female officer as he is doing so.

Grand jury decides no criminal charges. Probably because they saw the video.
