There is evidence of 6 shots. How many bullets does the officer have, in your fantasy world?
He likely had a Glock, so possibly 17, certainly way more than 6 or 7.

Well the very early statement that we've all seen from the Chief or whatever mentioned "facial injuries" so I assume you've seen that.
As for the additional detail of the orbital socket being broken? All I can tell you is I've seen it mentioned multiple times in multiple locations around the net.
Might be BS, but mind you I had also heard about Brown robbing the store several days before that revelation hit the media with the video and what not, in exactly the same way.
How many shots did Owens fire?
He still might have shot at Brown from the back, but missed. The witnesses might still be accurately telling what they saw. On the other hand, if all the bullets are accounted for (in the car or producing wounds), then that argues for front-only shooting.
Does anyone know how the count matches up?
Why didn't you post links?![]()
Well, in the case of the robbery I heard it over an IM client from someone I know who is very, very proactive about digging up information on cases like this. Much moreso than I myself am.
I didn't bother asking him for a link, I just said "yea, that figures" and didn't think much else of it at that time...
if I'd tried to mention it here, I would've been ridiculed for passing along a rumor, and slandering the deceased, etc.
I mention the more detailed version of damage to the officer's face because it's just an expansion on existing info.
"I join the people of Ferguson, and all Missourians, in strongly condemning this criminal activity that included firing upon law enforcement officers, shooting a civilian, throwing Molotov cocktails, looting, and a coordinated attempt to block roads and overrun the Unified Command Center."
Huh? This sounds like the Paris mob rising. Who's doing this? Gangs?
'Protesters?'
Just to be clear, Johnson flat out said that Brown was shot in the back. Here's the video.

cornsail said:The simplest answer is that he was shot at while he was running, but the shots missed. @TheePharoah, for instance, didn't claim that he was actually shot in the back, he just claimed that two shots were fired when his back was turned. As for Johnson thinking he was hit, that's an easy mistake to make.

What is your point? Assuming he's not a complete moron I don't see why he would lie about this, knowing that the evidence would prove him wrong. Especially considering he conducted interviews with a lawyer by his side. The obvious answer is that and Johnson thought he had been hit in the back. Because as the other witness reported, Brown jerked his body "as if he'd been shot". It's not like these witnesses can actually see the trajectory of the bullets. So yeah if you're arguing this hurts Johnson's credibility as a witness, I disagree.

Got any reason to believe this wasn't caused by him stumbling forward and his head entering the path of fire his chest and arm had previously occupied, as he charged toward his victim, Officer Wilson, for a second attempt on his life?
Also, please keep in mind that police are trained to fire numerous shots, and fire until the target goes down.
Does anyone in this thread actually believe Wilson strolled up to Brown, who was in complete surrender position and simply shot him in the head?

What? His testimony contradicts that of the family's own medical examiner.
Is it six or in excess of seven? You seemed so convinced it was more than seven just awhile ago.
