Back Up Gun
That's not a bug, it's a feature.
Back Up Gun
Bodyslamming pregnant women, blasting people with tear-gas when they're on their own lawns, and pointing an array of rifles at a single unarmed guy, are horrible, PR-wise.
Personally I consider the "PR-wise" addition utterly redundant.
Micheal Brown had a gun? Big words.
Ranb
Not necessarily. It may well be that he has some credits in his ledger as well. It's all well and good to pretend that someone who lost it (if that's what happened) must have been evil incarnate, but that's not how real human beings are in my opinion. If odds are he'll be spending the rest (or better part) of his life in prison it may well be his superiors aren't going to make it any worse in respect for what he once was.
I'm not sure if this is real, but allegedly the wife of the police chief wrote this on Facebook.

If so, it looks like she deleted it off her Facebook page once it started going around.

She certainly posts a lot of wingnut memes so the above quote seems in character.
Wow! Why are people so stupid as to put that stuff on FaceBook?
I'd love to this nationwide. I'm all for it.
California police use of body cameras cuts violence and complaints
People tend to act differently when they know their actions are being recorded.
I am a big fan of recording policies, but there is a huge observation bias in these claims of recordings reducing complaints as evidence of police wrongdoing. The door swings both ways.
Regarding the OP, I guess we'll have to endure the Nancy Grace Fan Club here until some actual evidence surfaces in this case. What can be gleaned is the level of embarrassment being heaped upon this forum. Critical thinking isn't a cult.

I'll ask again.
In light of this apparent police jackbootery and tyrannical behavior, where are the gun guys?
Where are the Bundy types? Where are the "we need guns to protect ourselves (and society) from government run amok!"? Where are the Second Amendment defenders of the folks in Ferguson? Why are there no "snipers" on the overpasses n Ferguson?
Yooohooo....Where are you guys?

Okay, so my options are militarized police or you as judge jury and executioner (without evidence)?I'll say it again: police militarization has everything to do with the current situation.
That, and heads need to roll at the Ferguson PD.
Maybe they don't fit the stereotypes.
I live about 20 miles from where this all went down...
