I tend to think the Comic Sans note really comes from the Perugian cops. In fact it perfectly expresses their Donald Duck approach to investigations.
Interestingly what the comic sans cops wrote is very different from what Mach et consortes tell you. It doesn't say or imply Amanda "attended a drug ring". It doesn't say she was supplied cocaine. It doesn't mention any phone contact with F (from the phone records it doesn't seem there was any).
Reading the comic sans note what I think happened is this:
The comic sans cops confiscated Amanda's diary and learned there was a F. who smoked and fooled around with Amanda during her stay in Florence some month before. Hence the "rapporti di tipo sessuale".
Comic cops go through Amanda's phone and find a number of some other F. who resides in Perugia. They routinely wiretap every phone number out of her phonebook and at some moment the poor F. guy who Amanda never even phoned contacts some known drug dealer and is busted.
IMO
It's not the same guy who Amanda met on a train.
There is no evidence Amanda ever phoned him because she never did.
The document comes from the cops. It's the same smear tactic as the "missing sweatshirt evidence", "harry potter evidence" and other lies.
Note what the fax says. I can't read Italian, but ask yourself what this means. Set aside that it is in this bizarre font, the lack of an address, phone, fax or email in the letter head. The rest of it is more than bizarre.
In the first line it says Agenti P.G. Sov Stefano _________ (last name is blanked out)out as well as Ass. ti Capo________ (Blank) Lorena(Blank) _______ Andrea.
Then it goes on to identify "Fedrico"..but again no last name, then it lists the only last name anywhere on the document and it capitalizes the last name just to make sure we haven't noticed. It says "Amanda KNOX" in full. Now why would they make sure that name is complete and emphasized and that last name alone?
Finally, it is signed and you can't read the names at all. Whoever wrote this was deliberate to make sure that no one was accountable for the content.
Was it meant to be an internal document? Doesn't look like it. I think it says that Federico lived in Roma and then in Perugia on VIA______ (Blank) and then the rest of that is blacked out.
So we have an article in an Italian crime magazine that gets it's hands on this copy of of this document, that supposedly comes for the Questura and every single name is fudged on it but Amanda KNOX. Absolutely nothing that could make it accountable. Since there are no last names, the only person it possibly defames is Amanda and no one actually owns up to the integrity of the content. How convenient
I'd bet a lot of money that this document is a total fake. Whether the writer for the Crime magazine faked it, so his story would get published. That is my bet. But I think he must have done it to cover not only for himself, but the self serving demonizing official at the Questura. You know if it walks like a duck, looks like a duck and it quacks like a duck, it probably is a duck. C'mon Machiavelli, come back and explain this. In the past, you have said that you are an Italian journalist. Did you write this story? After all, you were pushing it on this site countless times in the past. Anyone know the original byline of the original article in the Italian crime publication Giallo? I'd bet that it is Machiavelli.
