demonic possession

I think some people may think my house is haunted. Could I get more money than the county has praised it? I won't tell them the ghosts are moving with me of course.

Just as a side note...

Last night I watched a QI from 3 or 4 years ago where Steven Fry informed that a "haunting" reduced a US house value by ~30%.

I suppose it's possible that more "ghost hunters" shows means more interested buyers but barring one of those folk, a seller is gonna lose big if a story gets 'round that the property has a ghost.

We're so stupid over here sometimes. :D

Good find, although "demonic infestation & oppression" are probably a more accurate terms to describe what Bob Cranmer claims to have taken place within his home.

I could see why supernatural phenomena could impact a house's value. No one wants a drafty house, one falling apart, leaks.....

"Flesh-like material" seems like an odd finding for a "forensics team"- it's either flesh or it's not, and surely an actual forensics finding could (and would) say which.

Just read some of the comments; the "purty lady" post by Mr Cranmer was kind of a hoot. And someone asked him what I thought was a perfectly reasonable question (one that occurred to me)- if this sort of "materializing of flesh and blood on the walls" has been going on for years, why no videos? As expected, Mr Cranmer dodged it with a "read my book" sales pitch.

Good job and good site- added to my favorites.
 
Not to derail, but whatever happened to that possessed boy who "walked backwards up a wall" in an Indiana hospital, in front of witnesses? Is there a thread on this? Fox News (ugh) was selling this one hard for a while, based on basically no evidence, but then the story disappeared. I never saw any follow-up (or apology). Do we have a thread for that one?
