ZID (Indianapolis ARTCC) Primary Radar Hole

If you will recall Cheap Shot mention this (I believe in his interview with ref) as NEADS wanted lat/long instead of azimuth/range from a reference point for identifying a target.

Since they don't have lat/long info on the radar, I guess it's a quick method to determine that using this grid system.

Those are all returns for different objects at the same time stamp, rather than tracking an individual object through time (as in the second sample).
