Having carried out the above scenario with my Glocks (standard & compact) using simmunition (& having the unarmed assailant wearing a second chance vest & Tactical goggles for safety-DO NOT ATTEMPT this without proper safety gear, simmunition is not a toy!) 9 times out of 10, the unarmed opponent gets 2-3 rounds in the torso on average out of the 6-8 rounds that get sent downrange (& on the side, a Glock has no safety to flip, so to speak, placing your finger on the trigger deactivates the Glocksafe "safety") & yes, I was not standing still to receive the charge...I was really hoping the yellow bamboo guys would jump at the chance to show this groundbreaking way to take on a gunman unarmed, but alas, all my prep & testing was to be for naught.
