some thing yanked from LCF

few things i noticed:

watch the first collapse vid at 0.29 sec look at the top left corner of the building is that a large section breaking off way early - then the penthouse - then the actual collapse?

and as far as the "early" reporting of the bbc - is this really the foundation of that claim? Background footage?

I'm hesitant to click any new videos out of fear of another stupid 80's pop song being sprung. :mad:
 
2 things were brought out in that video that I never understood about some woo claims.

The collapse was symmetric yet in the stills from this video it is clear that the north wall of WTC 7 is ontop of the debris pile. SO much for the symmetric claim.

Another claim they make is that the collapse was in it's own footprint. So I guess there was some part of WTC 7 pre-collapse that only woo could see and that it was somewhere in the middle of Barclay street. Guess they blew that claim 6 years ago too :)

The large section breaking away first (at the top left) is the east penthouse; several seconds later is the collapse of the west penthouse, and then the rest of the building collapses.

I always laughed at their idiotic 6.5 second claim. Guess it is but as their own CT video shows it is ONLY when they omit the penthouse. I guess when DRG wrote a book using 9/11 and omission in the same sentence, a bunc of woo followed suit and omitted the penthouse.

Yes, in typical woo fashion, they just cherrypick the parts they like and ignore the rest, no matter how dishonest that makes their assertions.

I recently inquired here about videos of the collapse, trying to find one that shows the whole 13+ seconds without too much commentary, to no avail. Just wanted something simple. Despite the numerous results searching YouTube and Google Video, found nothing suitable.

Hence, my own video. (also linked in my sig) It's the CBS video, edited to the proper length without extra commentary by Dan Rather. Also, no music or fancy graphics. It has some annotation to help the viewer understand what's happening. This is just what I needed, and hope it's useful to others.
