Would it be scientifically possible to recreate a primitive human ancestor using mode

I think it will come long after the pig with wings, and the one with the nerves and instincts to actualy fly.

Nice :D

I wonder when we will have the understanding of genetics neccesary.
Getting a fruitfly to grow a leg instead of an eye is different from making a correherent bone, muscle, and nerve function. Think of the way a leg instinctivily will collapse to take the load of a twisting ancle.

Imagine a goverment "Genetic enchancement of humans! When pigs can fly!"
IMHO, not a completely unreasonbly position.

I wonder when we are going to have the understanding of genetics necessary to finish building that Jurassic Park thingy that Steven Speilberg made those three documentaries about.:o

GStan,

I actually heard someone was trying to do that recently with a dinosaur. Dunno what kind of success they will achieve.
