Here is a sneak peak at Bill O'Reilly's new argument for the existence of God:
Random Atheist: "You don't have any proof for the existence of a god."
O'Reilly: "I think it takes more faith to be an atheist than a Christian. I mean, if there is no God, then how do you explain babies? Where do they come from?"

Unfortunately none of the videos posted above are "available" in my "country", unless someone has a more international link.

I'm aware of the orignal O Reilly clip that prompted the follow up but can someone give a summary of the video because all the links I am getting via google just repost the same clip that is is barred.

Colbert says that O'Reilly has proven God's existence because of his whole "tide goes in tide goes out" schtick. And Colbert stresses this by showing a ton of clips where O'Reilly utters this at various times, and concludes that "O'Reilly has proven God exists because he doesn't know how something WORKS!"

Then Neil dG Tyson shows up in the studio and refutes everything, and tells Colbert that the moon is responsible for the tides movement, at which point Colbert bangs on a bell and declares that the Moon is God ("All hail Luna, virgin mistress of the Dark!" or something like that).

Neil laughingly corrects him and explains how the moon's gravity pulls the tides, etc... at which point Colbert asks him how he knows all this. Neil replies, "I'm an astrophysicist", at which point Colbert declares the Neil is actually God, and starts banging his bell again.

very funny clip :)

p.s. I'm sure i've gotten bits wrong, but that's the gist.

Ok thanks for the recap.
When I saw the clip of O Reilly with "tide goes in , tide comes out" , I couldn't help but thnk of Homer "Bed goes up, Bed goes down" Simpson.
