Although I can't help you, I do wish you luck with your endeavor and can't wait to read.

I ran my EMF meter over my monitor screen aimed right where your post was at and it really lit up.

Hate to tell you this but you are a ghost. I have the proof and everything.

Many of the clients that turned to PRS for help were promised all kinds of assistance even after the team left. In reality, after the cameras stopped rolling, the families were left in worse shape then they were before PRS arrived. Ryan Buell presents himself as someone who helps people but in reality he just uses them.

Many that have talked to me fear legal action from Ryan and the producers of the show, as they have all been told if they talk to the media they will face legal actions.

On a different matter, I'm surprised that James Randi has not responded to Ryan's claim in his book that an employee of James said that they could not disprove any claims made by his show.

I was under the impression that paranormal state is obviously fiction; fictional narratives to create compelling "stories". Is it supposed to be true?

all true

they state that it is 100% true our book will show it is 100% false

Why did they turn to PRS for help, and did they sign an agreement with PRS?

Yeah, and Kirby, were these people paid for their time?
(I don't know, but am assuming they were.. and probably handsomely).

Not that payment would excuse any malfeasance on the part of the program makers.
IMO Paranormal State was the best Paranormal show on TV (along with the now apparently defunct Most Haunted) until this last series where they seem to have cut the episode time down to half.

I have a hard time believing anyone could think that show is true, but then I have a hard time believing people can actually believe in the more outlandish CTs.

I did enjoy when they went on and on about some demon they wouldn't name but then had the name written on screen during an annoying scene transition.

Many have issues within the family

Why did they turn to PRS for help, and did they sign an agreement with PRS?
some had local ghost hunting groups come to there home and told the family they had ghosts and demons which they did not or they had emotional issues that PRS and the shows producers should had caught

None have been paid at all they get nothing from the DVD sales we have a family that did not sign anything with the show most had not until the later seasons this family will expose paranormal state to be fake

Claims like this are about as regular as the sunrise.

Hmm.. so they gave up their homes, for a few days, and their privacy, and opened themselves up to public ridicule (perhaps persisting for years) for nothing in a financial sense. Ok, that's their choice.. maybe they were desperate and/or unwise.
Why would any person subject themselves plus, perhaps, their partners, their children, and other assorted relatives/friends to all that - for free - if they didn't have a concretely perceived problem that needed to be dealt with?

We only have your word to go on, but I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt, and will look forward to your book and further forum contributions.

Do you have evidence against any of the other "paranormal" shows?

If the book is it it's (almost) final draft, what's the point? Why didn't you ask while you could still get them into the book?

Delusional. Mentally ill. Publicity whore. Or they truly believe they have something paranormal in their home, and thought that the PS guys could help them.

How could those nitwits help anyone?

Sure.
The first 3 possibilities are pretty serious charges, and would need some kind of corroborative evidence from other reputable sources.
The fourth possibility tallies very well with my own personal impression of having watched most of the episodes.
If it turns out the PS guys could not help them, then that's a shame, but I guess they were limited to a few days time with them.

(As a caveat, I found it a bit disappointing that at the end of every episode I watched there was a message to the effect that, in some sense, things had improved. Over a sample of 40 or 50 cases that's not a position that's easy to believe. If, for example, in 2 or 3 cases they had said there had been no improvement, or even a deterioration, then it would have added credibility... but then it's a TV show, with producers and big money involved. Regarding the individual 'investigators' seen on screen, they seem pretty sincere IMO.)

Just to be clear, I was simply answering your question as to why anyone would subject themselves to public scrutiny. I'm not leveling charges against any specific person, and I've never seen an episode of Paranormal State.
