Woman's runs her self over and dies

If she has a good enough lawyer, maybe her estate can sue itself for wrongful death.

Occassionally folks try to sue themselves -- the idea being that if Joe Smith gets all of Joe Smith's money, Joe Smith is no longer responsible Joe Smith's debts, since he is now a creditor, not a debtor.

Still, not quite on the same level of a man who sued Jesus Christ (among others) and also named his motor scooter as a plaintiff.

This man actually posted on the "Quatloos!" blog (an anti-scam web site), and claimed he doesn't understand why everybody's laughing at him -- he made it quite clear in the lawsuit he wasn't suing that Jesus Christ.

A few days ago in the supermarket parking lot, I observed someone:

1) Get into her SUV
2) Start the engine
3) Put the car in reverse gear
4) Adjust the rear-view mirror...
4a) ...to fix her makeup
4b) Leave the 'rear-view mirror' in a position unable to assist 'viewing to the rear'
5) Roll down the windows (electric)
6) Put on her seatbelt

and...

7) Shut the still open door!

I think cars are getting so easy to drive, quiet, and comfortable that people no longer think of them as the multi-ton killing machines requiring constant attention that they are.
