I saw a link for this;
http://www.takingamericaback2010.com/

TAKING AMERICA BACK is about freedom, the freedom the founding generation of leaders fought for in establishing the United States. As a nation, we have moved from being freedom fighters to comfort lovers, and it is time for all liberty-loving Americans to realize where our present state of affairs is taking us.

How extremist do you have to be to say "Ann Coulter is not far enough to the right for my tastes"?

WND Founder and CEO Joseph Farah Farah "ignited" [punctuation sic] a strong reaction when he disinvited Ann Coulter as keynote speaker to WND's conference for giving a paid speaking engagement at GOProud's fall Homocon event. He criticized her appearance as "validating" [punctuation sic] GOProud's support of same-sex marriage, hate-crimes legislation and open homosexuality in the military.

She did dignify the gays by acknowledging they even exist... that's practically supporting their wicked lifestyle choice!

After reading the whack-jobs on both the right and left, it occurred to me the best thing to do with kooks like this was to ignore them.

The reality is that the America they want to "take back" never existed. It helps to remember that Barack Obama was ELECTED. He had to get nominated, he had to go through the election in November of '08, and he had to get sworn in. Sorry, it's this kind of nonsense that leaves me a little ill.

And as to Ann Coulter? Reminds me of the neighbors I had who thought Rush Limbaugh was okay... for a pinko.

Pointing out that he was fairly elected just makes them froth more - these are folks who would respond to your observation by saying, it is impossible to legally elect someone who was never a natural born citizen.

I disagree. There really was a time in America when teachers could be jailed for talking about evolution, when school prayer was the norm, and when local protestant ministers were invited to the school to address the children about salavation.

ETA: a time when the government was not required to say "we must treat Islam on the same level as we treat Christianity."

Invasion: The Erosion of America’s Sovereign Borders

Ooooh, I wonder if that one includes commentary on the NAFTA superhighway/North American Union stuff. Always loved laughing at those...

I still don't know what these people are trying to take America "back" from. :boggled: What's happened in the past 20 months that compromised the sanctity of America??

The topics are pretty humorous. It seems like half of them are related to Religon and opposing secularity. I guess these Conservatives love the constitution...in small doses. ;)

No, they don't like the Constitution at all. Never mind that under a democratic republic operating under rule of law, the way of life these kinds of people crave is even possible. Sorry, but this is nothing new to me.

It's why I'm no longer working in Christian Radio. Trust me: Trucking was a huge step up.

Word, like them 'Amero' currency chain e-mails.

Yawn. Cafeteria Constitution touters. "I believe in freedom and liberty and I also believe that everyone should be subject to search and inquisition into their possible immigration status!"

As long as they check everyone equally, then there is no suspect class.

Cool...so your sense of humor involves laughing at the 6,000+ drug war deaths on the US/Mexico border last year? And a similar amount the year before? The 19 dead last weekend in Juarez? The 300+ young women tortured, butchered and killed in Juarez?

These are side effects of NAFTA as it moved the drug trade to the cars, trucks and foot traffic of the US Mexico border, where previously it had been boat and plane.

Let's hear more about your sense of humor. I'm always ready for a laugh or two.:D

Conservative Rule #78: Hollyweird celebrities should not be listened to, have no credibility and the lamestream media should not be putting these crackpots on the air. Unless they agree with us then we put them on FoxNews (Voight, Jackson, Woods...) in prime time.

What do these murders have to do with the North American Union?

Quoting again the post I was critical of:

What part of Corsair's comment on NAFTA and the my resulting comment on it do you not understand?

A non-white was elected President. It wouldn't matter if his urine cured cancer, the bottom line is he's not white. His politics provide excellent cover for the attacks on him, and I have no doubt that the people who want to "take back America" would oppose any President whose views they didn't agree with, but make no mistake: his first shortcoming in their eyes is that he's "one of them."

Dance on MTV or dribble for the Lakers: OK.

Be my President: well, now hold on a minnit...

That is why the Tea Party is going to self destruct. It is far too extreme for most Americans..including many fiscal conservatives.
IMHO, the party will split between the more Libertarian members and the Hard Line Social conservatives.
