Will the Olympic stadium in London undergo a false flag attack?

When I came to this forum, I came hoping I could get over my conspiracy thinking. Those of you who know my post history know that hasn't panned out so well. But I feel I need some consoling, because despite my attempts, I can't stop seeing symbolism and patterns.

There are many theories about what may happen on July 27, 2012 or during the Olympics. Some say false alien landing/contact-something extraterrestrial resulting in a black hole, others claim a false flag nuclear attack that will cause an earthquake-like break in the ground of the stadium. Some believe a disease may be released with the attack; as people from many different countries, whether panicking and running from an attack or calm from a seemingly non-eventful Olympics, they will eventually leave the country, and they could potentially and unwittingly take a biological agent with them.

There is much symbolism associated in the adverts for the games as featured in this video and its sequels: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O7yCppd4D1g

Some of you may know of "Illuminati: The Game of Conspiracy."

It's a game that features cards which feature attacks on public areas. You may have seen these cards before:

Well, recently I came across this card:

As you can see I've shown the (perhaps imagined) connection with the colors to the Olympics. Also notice the "Big Ben"-like clock tower collapse.

With all of the symbolism shown in the past and the present, I'm afraid that they, the NWO, government, what have you, are planning to do something destructive at the Olympics.

Commence with the insults, but please, I'm looking for help against this way of thinking. I know there's no physical evidence of a plot, just speculation, but emotionally, I just can't accept the symbols as mere coincidence. Please try to go over this point by point if you can.

Thanks in advance.

So a card game features famous landmarks, that are obvious terrorist targets being hit, and we are meant to be impressed because:

1) terrorists did target obvious targets.
2) a conspiracy themed game has images suggestive of conspiracies.
3) it features blocks of common colours, including the primary colours and most common secondary colour just like the olympics and most flags.

What exactly is meant to be important here? Obvious things are obvious?

The Olympic rings use all 3 primary colours plus green and black. My remote control has the same colours. It operates my TV that I've seen images of famous landmarks on. Does that mean my remote control is predicting some unknown terrors?

All I want to know is if tin foil sales have gone up.

I think your remote controls the falls flag events. Stop pressing those goddamn buttons!

1) It's a game.
2) Coincidences happen, especially when you look for them.
3) That doesn't look anything like Big Ben
4) It's a game and it was making fun of conspiracy theories.

BTW: The WTC was not nuked.

Isn't this a bit of well-poisoning? What if there was, y'know, an actual terror event? Not outside the realm of possibility, 40th anniversary and all.

Sorry for another post so soon, but what do you guys make of this?

It's announced that the Olympics will be in London and then they play a rather strange song about destruction.
Assume that I am deaf so can't use your link to work out what you are talking about. Can you explain without youtube what you mean, and why it worries you? (if it does)

It's Wednesday here in less than two hours, and there is a distinct lack of an apocalypse. I am going to paint my nails with an Olympic theme before I go to bed - it's obviously of vital importance to have freshly painted nails when the 200,000,000 strong army arrive the Opening Ceremony starts.

I think that in order for you to accept these emotions for what they are, you need to talk to someone that you feel comfortable with who can explain it to you. I'm not trying to insult you by saying "go see a shrink", but if you can't escape these feelings even when rationally realizing what they are, I think therapy might be the best option. Perhaps therapy together with a medical professional speaking to you about pareidolia and the way the mind works.

Personally, I believe some forms of conspiratorial thinking are based on forms of mental illnesses. This includes paranoia. I think it's good that you realize that there's a problem, but I believe you need to take the next step and seek professional help, the kind of help you can't get on an internet forum.

ETA: The Illuminati TCG was an excellent game, and I'm sad they (Steve Jackson Games) discontinued it. The board game version is still around, though. It's excellent for a hilarious night of gaming with your mates.

This is probably the single most important this to bring to all these things, whether it's this game in particular, or "symbology" you might find in other media such as music, TV or movies.

The CT meme is part of the common heritage of mankind. We've built up literally thousands of years of stories centered around various mystical groups, political groups, financial groups, and what have you, about how they are variously trying to rule the world, destroy the world, transform the world, enslave the world, or what have you. Every single one of those stories is available to any of us to use as we see fit for entertainment or artistic purposes. If something like the X-Files wants to suggest that a character is "in the know", they drop hints that he was the guy on the grassy knoll, and virtually all of us know exactly what that means.

So, any time you see something like this in a public work such as this game, ask yourself: What's more likely, that this is some secret world power rubbing something vague in my face, or is it just some guy trying to take a short-cut in describing how bad-ass his characters are?

And then slap yourself in the forehead, and say, "Well, DUH! Of course it's the latter".

Trust me, the NWO will thank you later.

No insults.

You have admitted it before, you realize these "feelings" you get about symbols and patterns are not logical or rational. I appreciate how hard it must be for you to calmly evaluate something you feel so strongly at the "gut" level.

What you have described is a known psychological phenomena Pareidolia. Pareidolia is a type of apophenia. I hope you realize what you are experiencing is an overreaction of a natural trait all of us have. Don't be down on yourself but now that you recognize the symptoms, I highly recommend you seek counseling.

Isn't this a bit of well-poisoning? What if there was, y'know, an actual terror event? Not outside the realm of possibility, 40th anniversary and all.

We've got SAM batteries on roof tops, cameras on practically every street corner, and a lot of the private security has just been replaced by the army, and a number of people suspected of terrorist links just got scooped up. Sure something could happen but I wouldn't lose sleep over it and I've got tickets for the Torch concert on Thursday and the Canoe Slalom event next Wednesday.

That card, as well as all the others in the game, has been used as proof of foreknowledge for just about everything; the 2012 Olympics, the London riots, the Tokyo earthquake (as the clock supposedly looks like the Wako Department store clock tower)... the card is vague and meaningless, allowing whatever person looking at it to project their own bias; if you believe the NWO is going to strike the Olympics, then it's Big Ben in the picture. If you believe it was predicting the tsunami in Tokyo, then it's Japan. If you're a mega-conspiracy theorist, then it's both at the same time, and then some. A conspiracy theorist really can't lose when it comes to these cards.

On a nit-picky side-note:

Most of the cards that people attribute to "Illuminati: The Game of Conspiracy", actually aren't from it, but are part of a separate, updated expansion called "Illuminati: New World Order." The former was released in 1982, and the latter released in December 1994. A card like "Terrorist Nuke" is no longer as spooky when you realise it was printed long after the 1993 WTC bombing.

I wouldn't trust a conspiracy theorist to divine meaning from a set of cards when they can't even get the name of the game right.

Hell, the CTs don't get that Jackson's Illuminati card game was ridiculing conspiracy theories.

I always liked the Orbital Mind Control Lasers card myself.

That guy sounds fishy to me. I think you'd better just stop thinking about it. Look at it this way: if something is about to happen, what could you do about it anyway? After all, if what this guy claims is true (it almost certainly isn't), the conspiracy is just too big.
