Will TerriGate go as far as MemoGate?

As an token of their dedication to responsibility for what they report, they will all be handing in their resignations, and offering an apology for inept reporting.

Hey, hey, hey. Martinez stood up and clearly put the blame on a staffer, not himself. And that guy resigned, so everyone should be happy.

Just because he's the congressman doesn't mean we have any business expecting him to take any responsibility for what comes out of his office.

It's not like he's the president or anything and therefore takes the blame when things like "faulty intelligence" gets used as justification to invade another coun---oh, wait...

And if you want a down the rabbit-hole spin on this memo check out Accuracy (sic) in Media's site:

“And the use of this memo in a spate of anti-Republican stories on the Schiavo case still looks like a Democratic Party dirty trick. Indeed, the evidence on this score is stronger than ever. The only difference between two weeks ago and now is that the hand of the Democratic Party has been completely exposed.”

So your position is that commentators can lie, misinform, repeat baseless rumors and innuendo and you don't have a problem with that cause they are not reporters.

All right then. I think we have your measure, easycruise.

Sounds like a typical broadcast on the nightly news from the big 3 networks.

So what's the deal here? The memo was real, and the person who wrote it resigned. How is this fraudulent reporting by ABC?
