Exactly. You speculate that Al-Qaeda doesn't have ties to a state sponsor like the U.S. government. You speculate that Osama bin Laden wasn't a CIA/Mossad asset. You have no evidence to verify whether or not your speculation is correct, yet you believe it anyway.

SHC, the question is why anyone would anyone use thermite in as CD. You asked "Why not?". I said "because it's stupid.".

It's the claim of Truthers that thermite was used, but they seem rather loath to explain why anyone would use it. The burden of proof is on them, not everyone else.

You're absolutely correct. But round here we sometimes summarise these things, having discussed them a score of times before.

There is not one single advantage of thermite over conventional explosive means, and many disadvantages.

In short, it's stupid.
 
SHC, if you want to be considered a legitimate voice on this topic, I recommend you do your research. Thermite has been used in a structural demolition before, you might want to check into that. It was a long time ago, and there may be a reason why that's the only time they used it.

There is no way he wants to be considered anything other than a child with a new toy. It's pretty clear the only reason he's here is to get a reaction, and I'm pretty sure it's because he got completely embarassed in a former life, and has resurrected himself with the sole purpose of being a moron. Best of luck to him, but not even I will respond to it any longer.
