Why Trump ?

Your post was racist. Own it.
It was a post about racists.

But again, none of the Trump supporters want to address the fact that they excuse every offensive thing Trump says about non-white and/or Islamic people as "straight talking" while taking great umbrage when Clinton points out that there are a significant number of Trump supporters who are openly, even notoriously, racist (and they are generally white folks).

Do all racists bother you, or only white racists? Or can only white people be racists?

Also, is believing negative stereotypes about certain ethnic groups racism? If so, and I think it is, then aren't we all racist to some degree? Isn't there a continuum of racism? At what point on that continuum does somebody's racism become so bad that they're "deplorable," "irredeemable" and "un-American" as Hillary essentially said? And why are people who hold racist views "irredeemable?" I can think of little that is easier to redeem actually than a view based on false information. It's certainly easier to remedy than stupidity, or laziness, or a violent temper. How do moderate racists compare on your scale of "deplorableness" to various kinds of criminals? Is a 70 year old woman who doesn't care for the "coloreds," but otherwise doesn't wish them ill, worse than, say, somebody who has been convicted of breaking and entering, or aggravated assault?

Translation: "Racism? What's the big deal?"

It shows your lack of honesty posting here. Clearly it was a question to Babylonian if he thought people should be saying the same things about BLM.

I think to pose that kind of question demonstrates what is going on in the mind of the poster.

logger, you seem to be implying that you don't consider the BLM movement ot have any point. Is that the case?

Form an external view, it seems that a lot of US police forces have inadequate oversight, and too frequently, their officers resort to excessive force.

To me this response shows you didn't comprehend logger's point at all.
Why you are unable to comprehend it I am not sure.

I know you do.

Sometimes bigotry and racism is not something people like to admit. It's not acceptable but that doesn't mean people don't have those thoughts.

A perfect example is the resentment many whites have against the black protesters. That the problem couldn't be with well to do whites. Never mind the white flight leaving black schools and neighborhoods underfunded.

To this day, I'll never forget going to a barbecue at this great Southern home. The hosts were very well to and as kind to this Yankee as I could ever hope. It was a gathering of about 20 people and everyone was white. At some point the topic of race relations came up.the consensus was that blacks were better off being slaves. They talked about that for the most part the slaves were treated as family and well.

These were nice people, but they absolutely were racists.

Asking a rhetorical question to a poster who clearly made a racist post means I'm a racist?

If that is your opinion, I can't imagine what is going on in your head. You posted a few days ago that you had a bunch of racists in your family. I asked if that was why you so easily label people racists? Of course you didn't answer, but now I believe you're just a dishonest person.

No, I believe they have a point, I just think it's misplaced.

That could very well be, but it isn't going to change. These cops are scared, they're going into absolute war zones and they aren't going to go in with a fairness type of attitude. People who get stopped by them should realize this, when a cop stops you, it's yes sir no sir kind of responses. I personally go out of my way to make a stop completely routine. With a little begging of course, usually gets me out of a ticket. :)

Yes, I have one serious racist in my family. A man with a host of problems. It's really sad because he hasn't always been like this.

I'm not going to speculate about members in this forum. That said, I have heard many oblivious comments about BLM and Mexicans and others that reek of racism.

I certainly would never believe you have any idea what racism is. I think you just like to throw the accusation around to shut up discussion.

Anyone who thinks ISIS and their kind is the biggest threat to the US is drinking WAY too much kool-aid.

I know... we thought the same of al qaeda at first until some of their followers hijacked a few planes and crashed them into skyscrapers plus the pentagon.... killed 3000 people in one attack. A group with an ideology based on a global caliphate with a corporate structure and no defined sovereign state borders... Isis is a different group... i know. Al qaeda was one of their inspirations though.

I don't care what you think. I KNOW that Trump makes racist comments and I have read similar comments made by his supporters.

And as horrible as that was and is, they still don't constitute the greatest threats to this nation. Those are from within.

It's hilarious to read that you think Trump is a fascist. That position is more suited to politicians on the left since they are willing to commingle business and government, Obamacare being your clue. Leftists claim Trump has no concrete positions, yet somehow he's already a fascist.

I suppose it would be worth knowing what fascistic policies you think he would create?
why is "commingling business and government" fascist? If obamacare is fascist, what do you think of the National Health Service introduced in the U.K in 1948? I suppose you think: "it's a pity the fascists won WW2, and the good guys lost", eh?

Let's be honest, if Black Lives Matter were walking around talking about "white people are devils" like the NOI, even I would say "yep, those guys are clearly racists." Instead, they're discussing police running up and shooting black people without reason, and then not being prosecuted because the DA throws the case. Now, some of the people in this thread have openly celebrated this, but non-racists are against it.

But this thread is about Donald Trump, who insists that Mexico is sending rapists to the US, that calls Senator Warren "Pocahontas", and who insists that black Americans have no jobs and no education. Standard white supremacist lines.
