Why not war against Islam?

Craig,

You mix the 1797 thing with the Greeks and the Spanish driving out the Muslims. I did not do that. It is you who is confusing unrelated and disjointed dots in history, not me.

Now you have been reduced to petty finger pointing. How is that not pathetic?

Yes.

Yes.

Not even close. For one thing, Breivik's manifesto is about one thousand, four hundred and fifty pages longer than Kaczynski's was.

For another, Kaczynski never once mentions the Bible in his manifesto, whereas Biblical citations and justifications are all over Breivik's rambling work.

You know, that does not mean he did not copy Kazynski's work. The very fact that the Noway one is longer suggests that he did. I saw a lot of text lefted from one.

The point that you avoid is here:

Breivik copied some phraseology. Even the text he copied was changed enough to say things that Kaczynski didn't. Plus, you know, there's the whole matter of Breivik's manifesto not just being longer, but longer by about three and a half airport novels worth of text.

Breivik said a whole lot of stuff that had pretty much nothing in common with the Unabomber's politics, motives, philosophy, or personal beliefs. But because he copied some sentence structure, despite changing the essential meanings of those sentences, you dismiss Breivik entirely as being just a Unabomber clone. Because the alternative is to realize just how flawed your overall argument really is.

Sorry, I don't do argumentum ad YouTube.

So would you think that if there mostly good Scientologists, then Scientology is good? In the end, if something is a lie, it has to go.

Ah, so the criterion for marking a religion for elimination is now whether or not it is true. Can you name a single true religion?

But that's not really what I asked you, is it? I asked you if you think all Muslims share the views of the extremists and terrorists.

No I don't. That would make me as stupid as the person who would assume I do. Good thing I am not that much of an arrogrant prat, huh?

Then it needs to be transcribed.

You forgot to name one religion that is true.

What percentage of Muslims worldwide do you think share the views of extremists and terrorists?

By the way, asking a question is not making an assumption.

Extrapolating from statistics on terrorism, it appears to be about 1 Muslim in 15,000, worldwide. Lower than that in the USA.

I simply have no idea what on earth you are talking about. YOU introduced the 1797 Tripoli war (and grossly misrepresented it). YOU then said that things that happened before this generation are not to be discussed. I am merely pointing (for the nth time) at your astonishingly inconsistent and contradictory statements. That is not in the least pathetic.

Why support, defend and argue for homophobic institutions?
That is what you are doing.
That ain't makin' peace, bro.

bill...the tea party is a homophobic institution.
christian africa is extremely homophobia, spurred on by american evangelicals, queers are being arrest in ghana, and the death penalty is being considered in uganda.
i will not judge all christians based on small factions of evangelical whackos, anymore than i will judge all muslims based on a minority of extremist whackos.

But you see, you are using a logical and reasonable outcome. Many people prefer to use a wider brush. It´s easier in their mind I guess.

I do not understand you.

You do not like the tea party but you like the islamists?

You view the muslims based on the ones local. You should roam around the world http://www.memritv.org/clip/en/2952.htm

You keep going back to this false dichotomy.

Pointing out that you make fallacious, hasty generalizations regarding 1/5th of the world's population is not the same thing as "liking" the islamists.

We're not passing judgement on the islamists.

We're simply pointing out the irrationality of your stance.

Over ... and over ... and over.
