Why is homosexuality wrong?
We all know what gays are and what they do. All of God’s laws are responses to a victim of some sort.
The one lied to is deceived.
The one who is killed is deprived of life.
The one stolen from looses his goods.
In the case of homosexuals there does not appear to be a victim or anyone hurt by the actions of the participant.
Why then does God discriminate against homosexuals?
It appears to go against His usual justice.

Who is the one injured when someone fails to respect the Sabbath? Who is the victim when someone worships an idol?

Who is injured when I covet something belonging to my neighbor? Remember that I'm not taking it, I'm just wanting it....
 
It's not wrong; it's just yucky. Unless it's women. Then it's really great.
 
If the punishment for homosexuality is in the "eye for an eye" style like those others, does that mean that as punishment for sex I receive sex?

Maybe there is something to this religion thing.

It's wrong because homosexuals are in the minority. Duh.

Just like it's wrong to be left-handed or play the bagpipe.
 
What are the phrases in the Bible about homosexuality? I don't
remember reading anything about gays in it - or anal-sex,
oral-sex, masturbation, yadda yadda yadda...

So who the **** is making this stuff up? :boggled:
 
I think the catholic church's (current) reasoning for this (if you really wanted to know and it wasn't a rhetorical question) is that sex should only occur where there is a possibility of creating life. Sex should never be completely divorced from procreation. That's why they have a downer on contraception as well.

Do you a detailed analysis of why some biblical scholars believe homosexuality is wrong?

Or do you want an explanation of why homosexuality is objectively wrong?

The first while quite lengthy is relatively easy to give in so far as it pertain to the kinship structure of and the religious pressure experienced by the ancient Israelites. However, the question of what relevance such an analysis bears to our modern society still remains.

The second is, of course, that homosexuality is not objectively wrong, and one of the reasons that the idea that it is wrong persists in society today is that it is perpetuated by those who think that ancient Israelite social structure are somehow relevant to today's society.

It's in the bible. Search it. Don't use your ignorance to advance a point. Educate yourself.

No it might be hot, but remember if they can find sexual partners with eachother it lowers the odds of them choosing you.

Male homosexuality is great, female not so much.;)

Lev.18:22
Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

Lev.20:13
If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

Rom.1:26-27
For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature. And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

So post menapausal women should not have sex then.

They always pull some of the weirdest ideas to try to rationalize their position. Still doesn't work.
