They probably did like my daughter and her friend did. They went out and bought some brickets and lighter fluid. They tried mightily to get them to light, used up the whole can of fluid in the process. It was only after I got home and looked at the bag that the problem became apparent. Firstly, it is obvious to all of us that you know absolutely nothing about fire fighting or the construction of the WTC.

Palmer was at the BOTTOM of the damaged zone. It was a "sky lobby." It was not office space. There were bloody few items of Class A fuels (wood, paper, clothing, that sort of thing) in the sky lobby areas. Did you notice how many times it has been brought up here that the jet fuel would have burned off rather quickly, and that it just served as an accelerant to see Class A fires? This was the deal where Palmer was. The jet fuel was pretty much used up and there was not a lot of paper around there to burn.

The "handlines" he refers to are the sort that you would drag into a totally raging house fire on initial attack.

Now how in the hell do you get "two handlines" meaning that it was going out by itself?Here's another little clue for you.

The worst of a fire is always moving upward through a structure like that.
