I genuinely dont understand how people can make a moral distinction based on which side of an imaginary line a person was born on.
Either hard-working people deserve the opportunity of a good education or they dont, why should their nationality matter? If the answer is mere pragmatism ("not enough to go around") then can we PLEASE stop with the moral pseudo-arguements - they are fallicious.
Which is why I am arguing from a legal standpoint. This woman decided to remain in the USA and do other things illegally apparently because she found it too inconvenient to do them the right way.
