Why Aren't Laptop Computers Grounded?

Not when BobTheDonkey keeps on giving out information that can get people killed.

Thats because most people don't realize that ground is what ever you define it to be. I can define a ground point to have a potential of 1000V in relation to earth ground. It doesn't matter at that point its 0V.

Wait...I stated (correctly, according to your latest bit about open wounds/internal resistance of the human body, btw) that my laptop's power supply could kill. Then, I retracted that and stated that the resistance of your skin, even when wet, would limit the current draw the power supply could provide.

And now, somehow, I'm posting information that could get people killed?

Are you daft, man? Current is what kills. Voltage only matters because it affects how much resistance can be overcome. This is not something I'm just posting out of one of my orifices. This is the safety training I have received every year for the past 10 years (and training I have even researched and presented to others) in my job, working as an electronics/RF technician in the AF and now working around Ion-Implanters (working with up to 160KV).

Where, exactly, have I posted anything that will get people killed?
