Just do a search for all the times Skeptic has used the phrase "usual gang of idiots" to describe people who have the gall to disagree with him.

Uh, you do recall, don't you, which party gained control of the White House in 2000, inheriting a $236.4 billion budget surplus? Which just a year later was posting a $157 billion budget deficit? Hint: it's the same party which now claims to be so greatly concerned with deficits and debts. One can only wonder where that concern was when they held the reigns of power...

Tancredo called for reinstating civic literacy tests. The history of civic literacy test in this nation is patently racist. Wanting to reinstate them is racist.

Civic literacy tests suffer from a very marketable title.

Back to the childish arguement. There are elitists among both ends of the political spectrum and within both parties. To claim otherwise is silly.
 
The right tends to be a bit more arrogant in that they have a mistaken idea of their own value, based on their being "captains of industry" and the sort of people without whom no commerce would be possible.

Tancredo is just a little more obnoxious than most because his bipolar disorder gets out of hand sometimes.
