opps, wouldn't want to give the idea I'm old enough to have a daughter age 21! We all know that I adopted Kitten when I married Pool Boy. I have no clue where her real biological mother is, probably some retirement home.

I made my anouncement in the roommates thread, but I guess I'll make it official here too.

Registration, Room and Flights all paid for. Just need my travel companion to get back from Germany and for January to get here.

She's actually one of my oldest and dearest friends. She knows most of the dirt, but still, don't tell her to many of the secrets I've publically exposed on an Internet forum. :D

Tim I can't wait to meet you. I'm going to try and not drink the whole weekend so I'll have to pass on the beer, but my will power will probably errode during Saturday night's party.

Loon, I am very eager to swap stories with you. I fondly recall our flame wars, and I regret that you dropped out of view for a while.

Speaking of which, I know I have been somewhat silent of late. I can blame my new job responsibilities or my deep depression over the election, but that would just be a sham to cover the fact that I am, from time to time, butt-lazy.

Perhaps TAM will recharge my zest for the boards.

I've got my flight to Vegas booked! I'll deal with the hotel and the registration forms on Monday.

Sorry for being an infrequent poster but I spend most of my time at the Bad Astronomy Board. I've been a long time lurker though so I'm looking forward to meeting you all. :)
