Who will be fired first, second... make your predictions

I have no idea what you're talking about. But that's OK, since I don't think you do either.

Most of the fat clown's maga minions never do, because they think the only Gaza in the world is in the middle east... bwahahahaha

Like I said, the maga idiots need the Dept. of Education more than anyone else.

ETA: Anyway, this is OT, so I'm stopping here.

Not a cabinent menber, but I suspect Musk will be a nice scapegoat.
When the metaphorical trains stop running on time because too many workers have been fired, Musk will no longer be flavour of the month.

We may have a winner! Multiple news agencies are reporting that National Security Advisors Mike Waltz is on his way out. Or should have I written that multiple news agencies are SIGNALING that National Security Advisor Mike Waltz is on his way out.

Well I guess that means the current UN ambassador is on her way out as Trump nominated him for it. Rubio is expected to play leader of both State and DHS in the interim. Yeah, one person serving as head of two cabinet secretaries at the same time, if I understand correctly. What could go wrong with that?

I think the current one is a Biden appointee. Trump wanted Stefanik originally but then withdrew her nomination because he was worried about losing a seat in the House.

So I think nobody really has yet been fired.

This is different from before when they weren’t all sycophantic loyalists.

Waltz did not exactly get fired, but he certainly got "kicked upstairs".
In fact it is a textbook exmaple of that: somebody who was messing up in his current job, but for varous reasons you don't want to directily fire, so you move to a job with a fancy title, but much less influence and power.
I guess even Trump felt he had to something bout the Signal scandal.

True, but her district is historically pretty red and don't think a Dem would have much of a chance there anyway. Yes it's a narrow majority in the House, but I'd say it's a pretty safe gamble.

I see it as a de facto punishment. Trumpies hate the UN. They want it gone (and the NYC headquarters is a great real estate opportunity for you-know-who!) So, for them, this is akin to being assigned ambassador to some ◊◊◊◊-hole country or other.

Yeah. But it is also perfect proving ground for Trump loyalists.

“I went to the UN and upset everyone there…” etc….

Yes, which shows they aren’t that confident.

Well he gates a pretty nice pad to stay in
and a salary of $200,000+ and expenses.
Less responsibility.

With the exception of few Trump loyalists, every political writer. liberal and conservative, see this a de facto demotion in terms of power and influcne for Waltz.
Like I siad, a classis case of kicking somebody upstairs.
