Just wondering. Because until a couple days ago, I'd never heard of tmz.com. Then I see the clip of "Kramer" doing his N-word thing exclusively on tmz.com, and I see tonight an interview on msnbc with a guy that represents tmz.com, in no less than 3 segments this evening on Keith Olberman's show.

What's going on here?

I was thinking the same thing. Granted I don't live on the net but I still know most of the "hot" sites.

Here's an article about the creation and rise of TMZ. It's an AOL/Time Warner partnership created to compete with the popular independent websites - Zap2it.com, etc.
