Where did the right wing hit the Pentagon? Or is Gravy wrong?

I have been attempting in this forum to see if the debunkers can give straight, simple and consistent answers to questions regarding various aspects of the 9/11 attacks. So far their efforts have not been fruitful. The answers range all over the place and are mutually contradictory. This does not seem to bother them, as it is more important to question the motivation of the Truthers, than it is answer questions. My two previous questions regarded the hole in the C-ring of the Pentagon and why the tail did not damage the facade of the Pentagon. This week's question is, where did the right wing of the plane impact the Pentagon? Mark Roberts (aka Gravy) shows us this image at his website:

PentWingHole-full.jpg

Mark Robert states this regarding the "hole", "The hole made by flight 77 extends along the wing line, left and right of the fuselage hole. It is not a cookie-cutter hole: that simply cannot happen when a plane hits a heavily- reinforced concrete building. Flight 77 hit the Pentagon at a 43-degree angle to its west wall. It came from the right of the photo below."

If the right wing hit within the area shown by the rectangle, then this contradicts the information in the Pentagon Building Performance Report(PBPR). At the moment of impact the plane was tilted to the left between 7 to 9 degrees. The PBPR states, “The left wing passed below the second-floor slab, and the right wing crossed at a shallow angle from below the second floor slab to above the second-floor slab.” It goes on and reports, "The right wing was below the second-floor slab at the fuselage but above the second-floor slab at the tip, and the left wing struck the building entirely below the second-floor slab, to the north of column line."

So the right wing could not have damaged all of the area within the rectangle. Somewhere between column line 17 and 18 the right wing should have impacted the second floor slab and gone up from there. Mark Roberts has the all impact beneath the 2nd floor slab. So for Mark Roberts to be accurate, he should show the rectangle at a slight upwards tilt. If he does, will he refer to this as the “hole” and no longer refer to the damage on the first floor as the “hole”? The area beneath the first floor slab appears to be more damaged so maybe that is why he chose to show the impact there. If the right wing is sloped upwards slightly a "hole" becomes less obvious.

This also brings up another important issue. Regardless of where the right wing impacted the building, how were the columns behind the facade, where the right wing hit the Pentagon, damaged? If the wing disintegrated or folded back what caused the damage to the columns behind column lines 15 to 18. If the wing never punctured a clear hole through the facade, how were the columns on the other side damaged?

So who is correct, Mark Roberts or the Pentagon Building Performance Report regarding the impact of the right wing? As well, explain how the columns on the other side of the facade were damaged if they were never impacted by the wing.

See where the masonry is missing just above your rectangle? That's likely where the wing hit. The wing obviously extended further up and to the right, you need a wider angle to see it all. The engine hit where the windows are, just above the spools.

Did you factor in the fact that the starboard engine struck the diesel generator -- suggesting the possibility that the wing fractured prior to striking the building. Perhaps it did not hit along a single plane. And maybe some of the first-floor damage was caused by the engine and some of the second-floor damage was caused by the wing -- or a combination of both (and don't forget about the damage caused by the blast). Who knows -- there is not enough evidence to know precisely how the wing behaved after hitting the light poles and generator. Doesn't change the fact that the plane hit the building. BTW, notice the black droplet splatter on the limestone in close-up photos.

Gravy's graphic is reasonably accurate but not precise in demarcating the exact limits of the hole -- the smoke obscures the view in the portion towards the right. There is obvious second-floor damage, in addition to what is found on the first floor. The PBPR's observation about the tilt of the wings is imo a good one -- fits with the fact that the second floor rightward from column line 18 is more heavily damaged than towards the left, as well as the fact that part of the second-floor slab itself was missing up to column line 17.

It's "façade".

You're never going to get a perfect answer. We can only try to give you the best answer we can. We probably will never know with 100% accuracy how exactly each part of that freaking plane hit the building.

ETA: you remind me of a creationist. Because science can't explain everything and there are still gaps in the fossil history so therefore evolution is wrong...

The god of the gaps I think we call it, but in this case god is "teh conspiracy".

thats because the questions are pointless

there is enough evidence to indicate that flight 77 hit the pentagon, there is also plenty of evidence to indicate the right wing was firmly attached to the aircraft at the time impact, with that in mind it doesnt matter where the right wing hit the pentagon, we know it did, whether you can get a bunch of people to agree of exactly where it hit wont make all the other evidence that it did hit suddenly not count, it doesnt work that way

No 100-Ton Jetliner Crashed Anywhere Near The Pentagon On 9/11 Or Any Other Day

Hi Tanabear:

Mark Roberts (My Thread) is an Official Cover Story cronie telling nothing but Loyal Bushie LIES. Nothing similar to a real 100-Ton Jetliner ever struck the Pentagon on 9/11 or any other day (my Pentagon threads are here and here). Official DoD/FBI Cover Story Operatives ramble on aimlessly about ‘holes,’ because they have no real evidence that any real 100-Ton Jetliner ever crashed into the Pentagon, according to these expert witnesses and 110 Military Expert Witnesses. The biggest contradiction in the Official Cover Story is that AA77 (never even took off on 9/11) crashed into the Pentagon at 9:38 AM (ACAAR = Page 200 PDF and 911Commission Report = Page 50 PDF), when the 911Truth is that the aircraft really struck the Pentagon at 9:32 AM (see the FAA Official Timeline and Barbara Honegger’s work). No ‘time-change’ parts have ever been produced from any of the four Jetliners (Flights 11, 77, 93 or 175) that ‘supposedly’ crashed on 9/11, according to the military maintenance experts like Colonel George Nelson USAF.

Try to get just one of these JREF ‘debunkers’ (heh) to produce just one picture of AA77 or AA93 crashed ANYWHERE. Good luck, because the holes in their heads are bigger than the one in the Wedge One E-Ring outer wall. :0)

GL,

Terral

What a terribly paranoid post. Sad really. By the way someone is going to post pictures of the wreckage shortly. I do not have time to post them. Also there are plenty of eyewitnesses that DID see a plane hit the pentagon. What about their accounts? Are they lying or being paid off?

So what happens if all the answers you get at JREF are wrong? Does that prove something?
If all the answers are right, does that prove anything?
Are the people posting on JREF the same people who conducted the investigations? Are we the FBI, The NTSB, NIST, The Virginia Police?

This is an internet forum full of people from all over the world who don't like bunk being peddled to the masses, we are not the US Government or any agency thereof.

Try asking the accident investigators your questions and let us know how you get on...

noway :( purdue did such a nice "simulation" how the wings reacted on the coloumns inside the pentagon. so much work. but it was already debunked when those Popmech freaks found out the wings came off.

Umm what? Are you saying that the wings should have stayed attached to the plane as it turned into a corruscating torrent of disarticulated flaming debris?

no i didnt say that, Purdue did simulate that :/

looks like they got that one totaly wrong, poor purdue, al that work and then it turned out the , the wings came off.

I find it amusing when Truthers call Gravy a loyal Bushie lier. Few things demonstrate more succinctly how they willfully substitute fantasy for reality.

Tanabear, if you really want answers that is good but you must understand that there are great many things, even well documented things, that simply cannot be fully understood. Why did the Japanese attack Pearl Harbor? Read five books on it and you'll get five different opinions. Does that mean they didn't attack the harbor at all? No it's just that the narrative of history is often full of unanswered questions. Now that makes history more interesting to me, but if you cannot handle the notion of ambiguity then perhaps you should devote your time to something else because investigations, especially of highly complex events, are always going to be full of ambiguities.

What colour shoes was Val McClatchey wearing?

Yeah, that's the one I was afraid of... these guys are getting too close to the truth.

Seriously though, why do CTers find these questions at all compelling or revealing? They deal with irrelevant minutiae that no one cares about. It's become obvious that the primary goal here isn't to uncover the truth and reveal it to the world, but rather harass a bunch of skeptics with stupid questions to score points in a meaningless Internet debate.

Personally speaking, I concede this argument. You win, tanabear. You're awesome and totally super-smart.

Terral, every one of those creeps you cite have been debunked time and time again. Stanish is a liar and a Dominionist. Jim Marrs is out to lunch. Stubblebine is a sick old senile man barely more functional than Reagan post 1992. He's also a low-life sniveller. Tried to cheat his ex-wife out of alimony. No reason for anyone to trust a word out of his filthy mouth. Wittenburg is lying about the performance of the 757 at low altitude. Half the people that Alan Miller lists on his site have said nothing to back your blather about the Pentagon, and a lot of them are known liars and low-lifes, like Eric May and Pierre-Henri Bunel. Some of the people listed there would probably re-arrange the faces of some of the others if they met. I assure you, Wesley clark would have no reason not to do violence to Bunel if they ever met. Bunel is, however, not allowed to enter the USA, and would go to jail if he did. We used to take his kind out and shoot them. George Nelson is an easily proven liar. He says that NTSB is supposed to do a reconstrruction of the aircraft. He lies. The FBI has jurisdiction in crimes scenes and he should know it. (He's also a Murrah Building woo-woo salesman.) White nationalist shill, for certain.

I think a good part of the twoofer movement are white nationalist shills or active ideologues, like that worthless excuse for an Army captain Eric May.

Find some actual experts to back your drivel or expect incoming when you break cover.
