Now that I see those again, the two bottom ones sort of reminds me of Lorenzo Mattotti's landscapes. Example. I really dig his work in comics.

Part of a project on logo design, I have re-created over 25 different Bat-emblems...

With the exception of 3 of those symbols ("Batman and the Outsiders" comic title, the "Batman" title logo from the old TV show, and the logo from the old Ben Cooper costume), all the emblems have appeared on the Bat-chest at some time or another.

I went with the line art idea similar to that of what Pentagram does with their typography calender.

I rejected this earlier design I did. Felt it was a little too stark.
