What's Wrong With Saul Alinsky?

I really wonder what problem keeps mhaze from giving us his critique of Alinsky. Given how vociferous he is on the subject that shouldn't be that hard?

So far all I've learned from mhaze about Alinsky is that Hillary Clinton wrote a thesis in college about him, but mhaze can't tell us what it said about him.

Or anything at all about Alinsky. He's guarding that knowledge with his life.

He's expended a lot of energy telling us he can't be bothered.
I have no problem with that.

But my comment remains.

But back on the subject of Alinsky, yes I am willing to discuss the book. Get your copy and pick a chapter and page.

On what page of Alinsky's book does he talk about why Gingrich and the Republicans dislike him so much and keep mentioning him, mhaze?

I don't want to read his book. How would buying and reading his book help me into the world of you and Gingrich? What problem do you have with Alinsky?

Do I need to use words which are more small?

WTH?

Is there even a proposition that is in dispute here? What's wrong with Saul Alinsky? That is not an argument. It's not a proposition. I suppose it could be construed as rhetorical but that doesn't seem to be the case. Is Newt's boogey man so obscure as to be meaningless?

Perhaps that was rhetorical.

Do you even have an opinion? Your inability to offer even that calls into question your participation.

Once one starts to examine Alinskiest strategy, the equivalence of it with Republican Conduct becomes obvious.

So he can't afford to actually examine it.

Everything the current republicons say about Saul Alinksy is due to the fact that they are using his tactics as hard and harshly as they can in order to break down the system so they can replace it with a Christian Taliban.
That would be an Alinskyite statement; personalize (in this case all Xians) and attack.

Rules For Radicals was his last book. http://www.infed.org/thinkers/alinsky.htm

It's a silly bit of dissembling. The kindle version is $11. If anyone calls his bluff he can download it and ad hoc "discuss the book". Which would tell us nothing. Then again, perhaps he has already downloaded it and is feverishly trying to find something to justify his fatuous response. At this point nothing he could say would convince me he started this thread with any understanding of Alinsky whatsoever. That's not good faith.

Funny, isn't it? I said explicitly I discuss it given chapter and page

.

What "chapter and page" in Alinsky's book talks about the reason you, Newt, and other members of the right dislike him so much and keep mentioning him, mhaze?

So we can discuss that.

I don't know how much more direct an offer can be.
Just answer the god damn question. If you know, if you really did, then you could answer it without the silly games. Yes, you can download the book in minutes and "discuss" it. That would tell us all absolutely nothing.

WHAT IS YOUR OPINION?

Is that so hard?

Seems more than fair.

Oh, and I've got an original copy of the jerk's book.

"Fair" is not part of the Alinsky lexicon.
