Ohh, you guys said Steven Jones! I always confuse him with the LoonyTunes physics of Chuck Jones.

Steven Jones, I believe, went on with Kevin Ryan to form the "9/11 scholars ofr truth and justice" or some such crap. Once Fetzer rolled over into Judy and Morgan's little camp, Steven was forced out.

I think these groups now spend more time debunking each other than anything else.

Steven Jones was always an anomaly, because he has enough education to know that this stuff is rubbish. Judy Woods does also, but where Jones is eccentric, she's [libellous insult deleted]. How Jones reconciled his education with his daft assertions was always difficult to figure out. He must know in the back of his mind that he's talking rubbish.

The guy is still pushing lunatic conspiracy theories then.
BYU engineering department debunked him, and he's not exactly being forthcoming about the circumstances that led to his retirement. Some CT'ers still believe he works at BYU!

I find it amazing that these things seem to always consist of a bunch of old men. Its the same with the "Revisionist"-movement. Homepages filled with pictures of old men at conventions with other old men.

I am simultaneously disturbed and ashamed to see how many members of that organization are actual MDs. I mean every med school class has one or two "kooks" in it, but I counted at least 8 MDs on that list.

If Jones is still pushing Thermite, those MDs should have their licenses taken away. Chemistry is part of an MD's knowledge base, and basic chemistry does all the debunking you need to eliminate Thermite.

There is a Jason Griffin listed as an Associate Member on ASCE's online directory (which is only available to members).
 
If you look at the document from Dr jones be sure to look at his diagram about the scientific method on page 13 . What caliber of scientists does he expect to be doing research that would need an elementary scool level diagram.

Does anyone know if he's figured out the difference between Structrual Steel (Managnese added) and Stainless Steel (Chromium added)?

Some where here there is a tread on it, but lead oxide can form thermite, with aluminum and sulfuric acid can have funny reactions as well as the material Dripping form the towers could now be lead from the batteries.

You should see the letters between Dr. Greening and Dr. Jones some one posted them here, but I could not find them.
