His supporters won't care.
But lots of people who are undecided will......You can expect a big brouhaha over that term.

The other huge theme is Donald's Ego.WaPo got their hands on Donald's acceptance speech. The theme is fear.

And we have no idea as to how old this draft is. No secret that speeches of this kind are rewritten up to the last minute.
I can't believe that Donald will not make some attempt to walk back his NATO comments, which even a lot of Republicans are blasting him for.
The other huge theme is Donald's Ego.
So Donald is going to "build the roads, highways, bridges, tunnels, airports, and the railways of tomorrow" and "completely rebuild our depleted military" all while giving huge tax cuts.
Yeah, sure. Who is stupid enough to believe that garbage? That's right, Republicans.

His outreach to the LGBT community is dumb. Donald says he will protect the LGBT community from a hateful foreign ideology just not the domestic one he's the head of.
No way does he walk it back during this speech. He's created chaos which he loves and this is kind of essential to the point that the US assumes too large a burden militarily and its time for other nations to step up.
One of the few things I agree with him on. I just think he is going about it in the wrong way.
BTW when asked about the possibility of the speech leaking, One of Trump's minions said "It's being guarded closer then the Colonel guards his secret recipe".
Wrong again.
If he would have stuck to "Other Nato Nations not paying their fair share" that would have been fine. It was the ,"If Putin attacked Estonia, not sure the US would support Estonia" remark that raised the firestorm. That was just stupid. That was the line that caused the huge fuss.

I don't think I'm going bother watching Donald's speech. I would get angry. I hope he bombs it.
I agree and I think eventually he will. Just not tonight.
Even if he gives it a decent delivery,it is simply not the kind of speech that is a game changer.
Has anyone ever been elected President by telling Americans how much America sucks?
It's going to be interesting to compare the two coventions and see if chaos and fear sells better than stability and optimism.
