What 'skeptics' really believe...

Water is inert, they say, and the water your toilet is identical to water from a natural spring (assuming the chemical composition is the same, anyway).

What a silly statement. Inert to what? I bet 100 bucks he has no idea what inert means.
 
He's posted a follow up article after the 'major waves across the net' caused by the first article.

Apparently 'It is absolutely true that the most ardent skeptics believe they themselves have no consciousness, no soul, no free will and not even a mind.'


Well, he's not too far off there, though. Depends how he defines the terms, but I think most of the sceptics don't believe in a soul. Naturalism pretty much means that there is no free will the way most people usually frame it. And consciousness, I don't think we can even agree what people usually mean by this, but I guess it's pretty much tied to the free will question in this context.
