I was trying to figure out what happened in the election but it all was all pretty much Greek to me. I wasn't sure what the new party that El Greco mentioned was. I did finally figure out that the Democratic Socialist Movement that he mentioned at the start of this thread was dissolved by the time of this election.

I did notice that the party that had the logo that I liked the best last time only got 3.77% of the vote. But my second favorite logo came in first. And apparently my tastes have changed a bit in the intervening years. I am not all that keen on the radical socialist logo now and the New Democracy logo had moved up to first place in my aesthetic. It was nice to see that the Greek population shared my aesthetic sense on this.[/FONT][FONT=&quot]

The difference is going to be smaller (around 3%) but "New Democracy" is still the winner. There have been some tragicomedic TV spots with this party's logo, associating the devastating fires with the torch...

Nobody seems surprised with the result, it's almost identical to every poll we've seen during the last few months.
