I don't see what the point is of posting the numbers for the beginning of the curve is, if the pattern that he claims exists doesn't show up until much later.

It didn't matter how many simulations we ran, he kept saying we hadn't reached the steep part yet. Is that called moving the goalposts?

Anyway, we're off on another explanation for what happens to the curve.
