Well, I forgot ABBA, I try not to think about the Spice Girls, and the Devils are moving to my city, so I have to cheer for them.

What do you think lurkers would think if they read the LC threads (of abuse) and then read our threads (of logic)? Would they be convinced about LC ideas or would they still have an open mind or better? If so what is the problem? Anyone come here from there?

There are plenty of links from their site to our site (not many to other sites, evidence that we are influential - ready scary to them) so any lurkers there can easily find us.

As for that 'high school physics teacher' how would he know that his students 'get it'? Is it just wishful thinking? It would be difficult for him to work out what they think. Then if they do their own research and find the facts are otherwise will they respect him again?

I should have been more precise. He said "[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][SIZE=-1]Even with HS students in my physics class I don't have to hold their hands as much as I do here.[/SIZE][/FONT]".

Several times, he gave us an explanation of how science works.

I do wonder if his students have discovered who he is on the web and read his posts.

I suppose there had to be someone out there equal and opposite to what I teach...I am a high school physics teacher trying to teach analysis and critical thinking....did this person actually get a physics degree?????

I wouldn't be surprised if he was a coach that they had to give a teaching position to. One of the assistant coaches when I was in high school was also a science teacher. It was sad. At 16, I knew more about chemistry than he did.

Of course, this was still when we carved our papers on stone tablets, so maybe not applicable now.
