Russell Pickering, and the entire loose change forum membership:
Not wanting the situation to be misrepresented by mr pickering, i will give you a brief summary of this weekends events.
Mr pickering violated Invision's terms of use, #3.1, sections B and L. After Lenghty debate i suspended mr pickering for his violation (as did a few othe rpeople, at the same time) in order to prevent this rules violation from jeopardizing this forum. Furthermore after being suspended, amdins ( i was only a mod ) Banned mr pickering. This was to prevent him from acting out his threats of revealing another members personal information thru invisions forum or PM system on this board. Mr pickerings suspension and ban had abcolutely NOTHING to do with his opinions regarding his pentagon research or anyone elses pentagon research. For example, Myself being the person who initial suspended him, I have no solid belief regarding what happened at the pentagon. What he may represent as the reason for his suspension and banning are in fact NON FACTORS in those decisions.
During the process of debating mr pickering's fate, many memmebrs of the LC forum staff made SEVERAL attempts to contact the board's owner, dylan avery, whom neglected to respond to requests for his input for several days. Please note he was able to come online and post in the 'south park tackles 9/11" thread during this time but chose to ignore the staff. As a result, the decision was made to remove mr pickernig from the board in an attempt to prevent the board form possibly being shut down by Invision. Apparently, this made mr avery very, very angry.
What followed was mr. avery de-modding myself, and de-adminning 2 admins, only one of which was directly involved with removing mr pickering. This was accompanied by a message to the staff which was regarded by all of us as One Gigantic Insult. Also, mr pickering was made an admin, which is a ringing endorsement of mr. pickerings threats against another member. Again, the staff of the LC forum pleaded with mr avery for audience, and none was given altho mr avery continued to post in the "south park 9/11" thread.
Frustrated by the uniformed and reckless decisions of mr avery, pretty much all of the active staff of mods and admins that used to keep this board free of trolls and other undesirable attackers have resigned. These people's contributions to mr avery's forum, from research, organization, and day to day maintenence, have gone completely unnoticed and unthanked by mr avery himself. It may nopt be obvious to regular members of this forum, but Hours and hours of work research support and advertising have been supplied by these staff members. They were the glue that held this forum together. They are now gone. Furthermore the victim of mr pickerings threats has reported in great detail the nature of his threats to Invision, and furthermore mr avery;s action demonstrate that he condones and endorses these obvious violations of invisions rules.
The result? This forum now has next to no staff, and i am sure upon logging in the remaining staff will see what has occured and also resign. The impact this will have on the forum will not be a positive one, as we are under constant attack from all sorts of troublemakers who will now proceed unfettered. Furthermore, Given the nature of the events and the direct violation of invisions TOS by the owner of the forum himself, it is likely that invision will be taking serious corrective action, perhaps removing this forum altogether.
My apologies for any spelling mistakes, i am a horrible typist, and this post was made with great haste. I feel given Mr pickerings recent misrepresentation of what has occured, that you the members of this forum deserved to be informed of actual events.
regardless of the outcome of this, please keep searching for the truth. If you are new here, please don;t take this as a representation of our movement. Every group has bad apples, every person makes horrible mistakes. Here on the LC forums, these two things have combined with disatrous results.
