What is Belief?

You know, I'm curious about this incident. Why do you think the dog was trying to kill you? What breed was it? Must've been some truly terrifying creature if you were really afraid it would kill you.

OR maybe you're just not an animal-person. (As in, good with, not made partly of...)

Sounds to me like either a) you're a wimp who fears dogs, or b) way off the deep end. OK, honestly, or c) someone in your neighborhood had a really vicious, vindictive, evil Rottweiler-Great Dane hybrid trained to kill you.

Weird...

Think what you want and insinuate what you wish.
The details are none of your business.

Gentle Reader, once again the subject makes a statement, but is unwilling to venture further into it.

Surely, if one is unashamed of the details, one would have no reason to hide them; indeed, one would be proud to state how he faced down a huge, mutant pit-bull. But by making mention of this sick, sad incident, then providing no details, he leaves the reader free to make any interpretation he wishes.

Wouldn't most of you, Friends, want to at least clarify that it wasn't a rabid poodle chasing you down? Or explain how the dog savagely rent your flesh any chance it had? Why even post such a sick, sad story without at least giving it a spin that shows it was more than, "Mr. Jones' Chihuahua barked at me, and I ran for my life!"

Of course, he is correct, Gentle Reader - it is none of our business. Yet by posting even a fraction of it, he opens it to us... in some way, he wants it to be our business, but only if we can empathize with him.
