What if no bailout happens?

BUt if we don't, they will pull the rest of the economy down with it.

The US bubble of artificial prosperity at the rest of the world's expense has popped. It is sucking the rest of the world down with it.

The US won't be forgiven for this. US dominance is over.

Nothing can stop the crash now but fast is better than slow.

A bail out will simply prolong and deepen the agony while handing money to the criminals who have caused this global, economic disaster.

So I've heard...

I heard it was all Wal-Mart's doing; they want to make everyone too poor to shop anywhere else....

Does all your information come from inside your own head?
Yours sounds like it comes from comics.

But never mind personalisations. Argue for what you think will happen. Don't say "I heard this". That is not critical thinking is it? I call it gossip.

(ETA: wrong quote first time)

Jihad Jane is a 9/11 Conspiracy Theorist. What do you expect, logic?

The bailout should indemnify defaulting homeowners and pay off the delinquent mortgages.
This should be the first step in order to stop the unraveling any further.
The core problem is the defaulting on all mortgages combined with overinflated prices of these homes.

Do you have a list of all the members and their stances on various topics? You are the king of calling people out on topics that have nothing to do with the OP. Just because somebody is wrong about one topic I don't think that automatically means they are wrong on a different topic.

Wrong quote second time too ;).

My "So I've heard..." was a little joke at my and everyone else's expense. We all sits here spouting opinions as if they were our own yet nearly every single one was someone else's opinion before it was ours. Haha!

dudalb is one of my special friends, faithfully misquoting me whenever we meet.

But let's not drift too far from the OP. Looks like we'll never find out. Is this a coup?

Well please try substantiating your comments JihadJane. Otherwise I (and others) will likely toss them away :)

That's fine. That is the fate of most of my comments on this forum whether I substantiate them or not!

Right now I'm happy enough just to share "my" preferred analysis and let future events decide its relevance. Bubbles always pop and almost the entire US economy is an artificaily inflated bubble, predicated on foreign lending. Once world lender confidence in the dollar is gone US economic collapse is inevitable. The charade of US dominance and dollar hegemony is over. Bye bye, US empire!

Those are some pretty drastic claims about some very well documented systems. It should be easy for you to provide evidence to support these claims... right? right? ;)

Hello? Are you there? Where's the evidence? It shouldn't be hard to give us evidence on such a huge and well-documented field, should it? Perhaps you forgot.
