Oh, lets be fair here, a $250K house isn't a rich man's house any more.

Even though I live in a $50K shack, that is because I refused to go out and stretch my income and buy anything bigger when I had the income to do so, and am glad now that I did not. I was pulling down $120K a year, and a $250K house would have been no problem.

The good news is that my diversion into a new (and low-paying) career in radio is over now, and I am looking for real engineering work again, and soon should be able to upgrade to a new pad - and maybe the bargain priced homes will still be around when I can.

so honestly i dont see any problem with his home, however the website linked by 240-185 indicates his subdivision has home values much higher than what his appraised for, but if nothing else, we all know jones is a keen businessman

Lol, not really. I am just wondering why he would need to sell all these things and make the money if in the grand scheme it'll be worth nothing. Apparently we will be stored away in a "Coffin" somewhere because our OH SO EVIL government plans to enslave us and eventually kill so many people until 80% of the earth is extinct.
