Whatever is ever said, that 2.25second window is opened..and countless thousands in the world have seen through it.
And caught a glimpse of a fantasy world. Good luck with the next thirteen years.

Just once I'd love for a Truther to actually explain exactly how FFA is indicative of demolitions in the first place. Actual examples would help. As much as. They love YouTube, you'd think there would be some videos.

Yeah, NIST charted the period of free fall in NCSTAR 1A, way before DavidRChandler popped on his tinfoil hat and got a hard on over it. It also explains that 7 WTC was collapsing for ~8 seconds BEFORE Chandler even starts his collapse timer. And, like you said, where is their proof that this automatically would prove controlled demolition, anyway? Why would the building only reach free fall acceleration for 2.25 seconds then SLOW BACK DOWN again afterwards if it was a CD? Where's the logic in that? The only thing they have is a detail challenged high school physics teacher taking averages, and NIST acknowledging the averages in a "yeah, sure, whatever" kind of way. And this is one of the "Pillars" of their faith.![]()
We need to take care that we don't chase analogies too far - especially if the starting point is sus.
The navy blue bit is the false assumption probably derived from Bazant's 2001/2 work with Zhou and it does not represent what actually happened. Viz the "initiation" to "progression" transition process was not a free fall event. More detailed explanation if required.
Also it is taking the topic into "initiation" stage or, more pedantically, out of the "progression" stage which is the scenario of the OP. here should be no problem with the discussion going wide ranging as long as we keep in mind that it has diverged.
Your math looks OK BUT is about an analogy to a free fall drop>>>IMPACT scenario. That:
1) Was not the WTC real event scenario; AND
2) Is not within the scope of the OP.
Again - no problem with the divergence but let's not lose track.
I must say, after 12 years, it is actually heartening to know that the only people who buy into 9/11 'truth' fantasies are really not people worth listening to. The truth is safe from the witch hunt folks.
The 9/11 Truth movement is nothing more than a collection of myths, urban legends and distortions professed by some people with really bad judgement and no respect for truth. It's dead.
9/11 Truth isn't a bunch of well-meaning activists, it's not a coalition of people interested in legitimate inquiry, it's a hate group whose members vent their paranoia and suspicion by baiting, taunting, and mocking strangers on message boards.
Engaging these sick people is just paying them the attention they crave. They're your hours, but they could be spent doing more worthwhile things, like watching paint dry.

If someone is wed to a conspiracy theory, logic, science, and any other information that subverts their religious belief in the conspiracy will simply be discounted (as in many religions).
Any testimony or evidence that does not fit the theory is simply lumped in with the evil forces driving events and discounted. Why? because the smug superiority of "being in on the secret" is intoxicating and addictive and a clearly identified villain is comforting. In their minds, its them standing bravely against "the man," while the foolish masses go blindly about their business.
Two wholly different conclusions. I think most are suffering a mild form of persecutory delusional disorder, the type where one takes on an air of arrogant self important detachment from society- where they feel their morals are superior to nearly everyone elses-witness they explain away thousands of participants who could be bought for a pittance. Hundreds of thousands of architects and engineers DON'T sign petitions because they are scared of losing their jobs. Their ignorance is mistaken for enlightenment, their paranoia mistaken for courage to confront a corrupt system, their lack of individual power over the world around them mistaken for a destiny for leadership of all the sheeple to the "truth". Yet they are so lacking in integrity not one can ever acknowledge the smallest error or that their claims are just wrong.
"Do the research" is the common meme... yet in every case I've heard it I soon realized I was far more well read than the person saying it.
I think delusions could be the only rational explanation.
