As well you should, and just a word of caution the fermented goat milk has quite a kick to it that kicks even harder the next morning.

There will be just Goats milk, MINTIES , oatmeal cookies, roo meat, Assorted salads, roasted corn on the cob,steam clams,lobsters and assorted icecream this weekend for the NEWB'S

I have no interest in visiting proselytizing websites. Why don't you start a thread that summarizes the argument in the appropriate subforum so we can discuss it here?

Thanks for the welcome. You don't believe that the holocaust denial is given much space here. Maybe it is not, but it appears like it is when I look at the forum indices....just by the volume, not the number of threads. Either way, the question was why host the discussions, not how large a proportion of the site is devoted to such discussions. Thanks for any reply.

Oh, I think I see where your question is coming from. Why give holocaust deniers a place to voice their hateful idiocy in the first place?

I think the reason is that for every holocaust denier on this forum there are many other members with a lot more knowledge, who are able and willing to counter arguments and provide evidence the deniers are wrong. That serves an educational purpose. We'll likely never convince the deniers they are wrong, but hopefully will educate lurkers and others seeking information (you may be surprised how high the JREF forum comes up in Google searches for woo and conspiracy theory beliefs).
 
Hey all. My name is Ian and I'm a paralegal from Ohio currently living in Western New York. While I'm not an expert, I've always loved conspiracy theories, so you'll most likely see me in that section or the politics section if at all. I haven't had much involvement with the skeptic community aside from reading a few issues of Skeptical Inquiry, so I'm still a newbie when it comes to other aspects of skepticism such as cryptozoology, alternative medicine, UFOs, ect.

Also, brief explanation of the screen name. Just to be clear, I'm not a supporter of psychics at all. I had the name on another message board because I'm a huge bad movie fan and Plan 9 from Outer Space, though slightly overrated*, is in my top twenty. Though he is hilarious, the Amazing Criswell is not nearly as awesome as the Amazing Randi.

* Or is it underrated when speaking of so bad it's good movie?
