Weiner's Seat Goes Red

I know Republican sympathizers will object to that but as reality as shown, they don't like anything Obama has done or suggests, even if what he suggests was originally a Republican idea.
False. Nearly all in the GOP was supportive of Obama killing of Bin Laden.

Just disavowing, you mean. Like your faction is some kind of Impossible Mission Force, on a covert operation to stick it to those Other Guys. If anything goes wrong, your operatives will be disavowed. Am I right?

No, as in Zell Miller. You know, guys who call themselves Democrats but never support any Democrats or Democratic ideals. This guy endorsed McCain/Palin in 2008, didn't he? Surely this isn't controversial? Surely there are people who used to be GOP, still claim to be GOP, but never support Republicans?

Either way, Ed Koch is one of those guys.

ETA: He endorsed Bush in 2004, and then said he couldn't endorse McCain because Palin was too fringe.

Except that your source quotes out of context from it's own link to create a bald faced lie, which you erroneously believed, and used to support a point.

Here's quoting from the actual link:

Though bin Laden’s death may negatively impact the state’s recovery efforts, Ward and McClurkin said they were glad to hear the terrorist leader was killed.

“I think it’s extra important that bin Laden was killed,” McClurkin said. “When you get the leader of Al Qaeda, that’s good news. I’m excited about that.”

“Despite how glad we are that he is gone, I hope people don’t forget the tragedy here in Alabama,” Ward said.

You're right you caught me. It works for Rush, but I guess not everyone here is as gullible as his audience.

The Democrat also reportedly took it on the chin for supporting same-sex marriage and the Ground Zero Mosque as an assemblyman:

So you are rejoicing that someone lost an election at least in part because they weren't bigoted enough?? A proud day indeed.

Democrats don't tolerate minor deviations from established orthodoxy.

Are you kidding me? Getting the Democrats on the same page on every issue is like trying to herd cats!

Which shows you know very little about Democrats AND cats.

Chuck Schumer blames it on Jews and immigrants:

Schumer, who represented NY-9 for 18 years, insisted the district is about 75 percent the same today, geographically speaking, as it was when he was in office, but drastically different when it comes to demographics. There are more Orthodox Jews, he said, and also more immigrants, making the district skew even more conservative than it had been back in his day.

Most republicans believe the best way to help the country is by taking the senate and the presidency back and then putting different policies in place.
Because it worked so well the last time we did that, Hell, look around. It's been 10 years since the tax cuts and Republicans held all branches of power. The Job market took off and has been stable; housing market; stable and growing, stock market; stable and growing, deficits/debt; shrinking, GDP; oh don't even get me started.

I just can't wait to get back to those rosy GOP times. That's what I like about partisanship, by refusing to work with the other side we can put off helping Americans for political reasons. But there is a reason beyond politics, things will be better for citizens anyway so why help them now. I just can't wait for another bank meltdown and financial crises. You?

They need to tell me, SPECIFICALLY, what they will do differently this time.

The fact that they caused a needless trillion dollar war and crashed the economy, almost destroyed the banking system, and turned investment into a home from the American Dream to the American Nightmare for many the last time we allowed them to run things gives me major pause.

Didn't stop them from complaining about the burial at sea. Heck, I even heard some complain that Osama should have been captured alive and there were breaches in the rules of engagement. Seriously.

So he lost for supporting peoples' rights...

I guess that's better than losing because he fumbled the campaign (not that familiar, just the headline from liberal blogs I otherwise enjoy).
