Weak Quantum Theory

Don,

You call also tell this in non diabetic cases also i.e. the effect of taste/sensation of sugar/other substances which raises BS(blood sugar) levels but not taking it internally on the physiology of diabetic & non diabetic persons. Whether smaller the molecular particle higher can be this effect or not?

Is there any regular studies is done in this regard? If yes, pls give the referances.

Kumar,

So is your question "can the taste of something but not the consumption of it have an effect on blood sugar levels ? " ?

I suppose the logical next step from this would be "can the thought of something but not the consumption of it have an effect on blood sugar levels ? "

Neither of these in any way address the issue of homoeopathy by the way.

If this has anything to do with "weak quantum theory" I'm totally missing it.

Kumar, weak quantum theory is an interesting topic, and one which I hope Zombified may have more to say about once he has looked at more of the references.

Please take your off-topic remarks about diabetes to another thread, and stop derailing this one.

Rolfe.

Don,

I therefoe mentioned ' taste/sensation'. Furthur, it can be realted to working of homeopathic/tissue remedies OR it is not necessary that my all questions are related to homeopathy only. Pls awnser.

Kumar, PLEASE START A NEW THREAD IF YOU WANT TO DISCUSS THIS. It has nothing to do with weak quantum theory and you are derailing the thread.

Rolfe,

Ok as you say. Best wishes, if you can find some logic or science in this theory.

I'm sorry, I played City Of Heroes this weekend instead of doing my homework. But I hope to have something to say about Weingärtner's papers this week.

I think that's extremely unlikely! ;)

However, it's good to understand it, as this is the theory that the homoeopaths who realise that there is no evidence that their remedies have any effect when nobody knows what is being taken are trying to rely on in their desperate efforts to claim that there is still some possibility of an effect.

It is leading in the direction of declaring that homoeopathy is "magic", in that it is an effect of the mental power of the practitioner, exercised consciously to heal the patient. This, if it exists, is indeed magic.

So we want to examine the so-called science behind it, so we can understand the deficiencies in their theories.

Rolfe.
